"After the death of their parents, their uncle took care of them. However, three months later, their uncle died due to being attacked by a demon beast in the forest."
Margaret sighed heavily. "Such great suffering is too much for children to bear."
Ruby patted the back of Margaret's hand; she smiled gently as she said, "But thanks to the kindness and affection you gave them. Naya and Abell were able to grow well."
Through her eyes, Ruby could see the pink color covering Margaret's body every time she looked at Abell and Naya, a sign that she truly loved the children she raised with all of her heart.
"I just feel happy when I see children smiling happily," Margaret replied.
Due to talking to Ruby, Margaret felt that she had gained additional strength to feel confident that Abell would be able to overcome his critical period and be able to smile again in the future.
