Even though Holden was able to move quickly, he couldn't possibly slash hundreds of snakes in a short amount of time, especially since the snakes started to slither faster when they were fully awake.
The commotion finally broke out. The maids screamed and started running while the soldiers tried their best to chop off the heads of the snakes before they got bitten.
"Arghh! Please help me! Help me!"
"The snake doesn't want to stop crawling from the hole!"
The soldiers' screams were heard as more snakes slithered out of the hole and chased them.
"Shameless! How can you scream in fear at the sight of a snake?!" Xylon shouted angrily when he heard the screams of the soldiers. "Didn't Diaz train you properly when I left the palace?!"
Crack!
Xylon plunged his sword into the ground, then poured a large amount of spiritual energy.
