Ruby then approached Liliana and tried to help her stepsister. However, her footsteps stopped when she heard the sound of Liliana's crying and screaming.
"Ahhhh!! Father! Father! My head is bleeding!" Liliana cried loudly, the sound of her screams filling the mansion. "Mother! Help me, Mother!"
Soon, Ruby could hear lots of footsteps coming towards her.
Upon hearing Liliana's screaming voice, the Marquess and Marchioness Barnette immediately came over with panic on their faces. Dozens of soldiers and servants also followed them from behind because they were curious about the noise.
"Liliana!" Marchioness Barnette immediately rushed over to Liliana; she even pushed away Ruby's body that was blocking her way. "What happened to you?! Why is your head bleeding?!"
Liliana cried even louder and immediately hugged her mother. Her hand then pointed at Ruby and said, "Ruby did it!"
