About five hours later, Ruby's party finally made it out of the Banrood Forest area. They all breathed a sigh of relief at being able to pass through the various obstacles they had to face in the forest that held so many blockages.
They only needed to travel another two hours to reach the foot of Mount Parnassus. However, they were all exhausted from having to endure the non-stop snowstorm, so they decided to set up tents to rest for a while.
Unable to hear the chatter from Basen any longer, Matius voluntarily lets Matthew control his body again. Apparently, Matius felt it was better not to hear at all than to hear Basen's voice.
"Maybe I can use the snake to prevent Matius from taking over my body next time," considered Matthew.
His tone was joking, but his eyes were serious as he wanted to use Basen to prevent Matius from taking over his body.
