Ruby thought maybe the words that had just come out of Matthew's mouth were just a delusion, something that they couldn't possibly do because she had never heard of anyone else doing that.
However, Matthew told Ruby something that would blow her mind. A secret that the world never knew, but Matthew was able to find out after traveling for over a thousand years.
"I heard a legend about two people who could emerge their destiny by eating the golden dragon's heart." Matthew got up from the bed and then picked up a worn notebook that he had placed on his bookshelf. "I have searched for all the information about the legend for hundreds of years, traveling from place to place to make sure that the story is not just a legend."
Matthew handed the notebook to Ruby. The color of the paper had turned brown, and the ink was faded. Nevertheless, Ruby was still able to read the information it contained.
"Did you write down all the legends about the dragon?" asked Ruby in surprise.
