After she said that, the werewolf suddenly closed his eyes and fell right in front of Ruby. His breath sounded clear, but he did not move as if dead.
Xylon poked the werewolf's body using his sword's sheath. "Is he falling asleep?"
All the soldiers who witnessed that could only be silent and confused. Their swords had not even touched Taylor's body in the slightest, but the werewolf was already lying motionless on the floor.
What actually happened to him?
When they recalled what happened a moment ago, they suddenly remembered that they heard Ruby say something.
Xylon turned his head to Ruby. "Your Majesty, did you ask him to sleep?"
Just like them, her brain was still processing the horrific incident. Ruby had no intention of using her magic, but her lips suddenly moved on their own, as if her unconsciousness was taking over her body.
