Brittany woke up in the morning due to the noise that was made by her mother who was quite busy with the wedding arrangement. The wedding was to take place the next day but her mother was acting as of the wedding was happening in the afternoon. Brittany was tired and she was getting the pre wedding nervous and was turning into the moody bride.
All the servants in the house knew not to cross her path or make her upset as they all knew she had quite a bad temper. The men she tried dating after she broke up with Blake all ran away complaining that a man who could handle her would have to be out of this world, as 'no man wants to be bossed by a woman', it was their direct words to her.
She ended up asking herself if that was also what Blake thought when they were dating or is that the reason why he ended up cheating on her. She often wondered if she pushed him into cheating because he was tired of her bossing him.
Blake on the other hand was having a tough time with his personal assistant as she kept on rambling on and on about why he shouldn't marry Brittany. He knew that his assistant had a huge crush on him but he never fired her because she was good at her work.
"Mandy could you please shut up. You have no right over what I do with my life if I choose to marry her and o am it shouldn't bother you cause you are nothing but my assistant."
"Of course it's going to bother me, Blake you know exactly well that I have feelings for you and I am sure you do have feelings for me too which is why I am still here. And she is not the right girl for you, I am and we could be very happy together."
"For heaven sake will you shut up. Listen to yourself, you are forgetting that I am your employer."
"Yes and..."
"And you are only here because you are good at your job and nothing else and by the way you're fired."
"But why?"
"You wish to mix business with pleasure and that cannot be tolerated in my office."
"But Blake how could you forget about the love we share."
"We don't share any love so stop being delusional and get out of my office."
Blake knew that she had feelings for but he always brushed it over as most females had feelings for him. He had no idea that Mindy had a mental problem and she becomes obsessed with things that she cannot get which was now him.
Mindy walked to her office ad started packing up her things but was complaining while doing it. She believed that they were meant to be together and that he was making a mistake that she will have to make him see.
Mindy in her head believed that she and Blake were dating and were the power couple and she believed that he was just shy to admit that he loved her because of he and Brittany getting married. For some people Mindy us a nut case and they are right.
"He will be mine" she said as she was walking away from the building.
Blake came to Brittany's house and the servants knowing exactly who he is they let him in and he went straight to Brittany's room as he still knew the direction. As be entered her room he found her sleeping, he went closer to the bed and sat down.
"Hey Brittany" he said while caressing her hair which made her yo wake and look up at him.
"Hey" she while rubbing her eyes.
"Are you ill."
"No I'm just tired."
"Mind if I lay down with you"
"We might as well start now."
She said while shaking her head and he wasted no time on getting inside the bed with her. He wrapped his hand around her waist as her back was facing him and he placed his head in the crook of her neck. Brittany was still tired so she slowed her eyes again and slept, one would think with the way that she kept on sleeping the whole day one would think that she was pregnant.
The servants as they walked in to wake her to get as her parents were looking for her but as soon as the maid stepped in and saw them sleeping, she turned back and told her parents that they were both sleeping. Her parent smiled and told all the servants to not disturb them, they all knew what took place 5 years ago and they believed that Blake would never cheat on their daughter. While growing up together Blake had developed feelings for Brittany from such a young age and they hoped that they can get to the bottom of what happened and sort put their differences, as they both deserved to be happy.
Blake woke up before Brittany due to his phone ringing, he grumbled when he saw who was calling.
"What?" He said to the new assistant and he made sure that this one was a male as he didn't want to deal with clingy girls.
"Sir you have a meeting in two hours."
"Reschedule the meeting, I have more important things to do and tomorrow is my wedding so I'm taking a two week vacation so I'm leaving you in charge. Call me only if there is important things to discuss."
"Okay sir, thank you sir, I promise I won't let you down, and congratulations on your wedding."
"Yeah" and he cut off the call.
He laid back and turned her to face him and he noticed how beautiful she looked while sleeping, in fact she looked beautiful doing anything. He ran his hands through her hair and smiled when she got closer and wrapped her around his waist and snuggled closer into him.
He chuckled as he watched her sleeping she was so cute and he felt the urge to kiss her so he kissed her forehead. He remembered that she was a deep sleeper that even of a bomb were to go off she won't even stir, she would still be the only person sleeping.
