"Daring , how have you been?"her father asked Cloe when she got home the house ,"am fine father ,how about you?"she asked,"I have been fine daring ,I have missed you and then kids so much , why doesn't you and the kids visits your mother and I anymore ?"her father asked.
"I know what you are trying to do father , Beatrice and John are at school besides they visited the last time they we're on a school holiday ,"Cloe replied ,"fine then , how have you been ,I mean how Isaac your marriage ?"her father asked .
"Don't worry am fine , father ,"Cloe reply , how can he not be worried ,his daughter has suffered so much in her first marriage ,the worst thing was that she has suffered in silent,he wouldn't be at ease when she remarried.
"Father , Stephen is a very good man ,he treats me very well , trust me father,if he dared to mistreat me I will immediately leave him without caring a thing,"Cloe said ,her father was at ease afternoon she promised not undergo mistreatment in silent.
"Father am here , you promised to help me put up the orphanage,you aren't allowed to go back on your promise ,"Cloe said ,her father laughed ,"what do you mean, when have I gone back on my promise?"her father asked .
"Don't getting annoyed ,I was just joking ,how much are you going to donate?"Cloe asked ,"one million dollars,"her father replied , Cloe looked at her father in shock ,her father was also suprised at why she was staring at him like that.
"Why are you looking at him like that Cloe?"her father asked ,"father , what do you mean that you are only donating only a million dollars ?"Cloe asked ,"that's the money that I can afford,"her father replied ,"father,I think you shouldn't be very stingy at your age , your should learn from my husband,"Cloe said .
She looked at her father and thought that he wasn't planning to say anything so she just went on ,"father , do you know what my husband did when he heard that I was planning to put up an orphanage ,he bought the land of meeting and also bought all the building materials ,he even asked me to ask him if I needed something else and my own father is contributing only a million dollars ,I can't believe that , please return my father to me !"Cloe raised her hands and asked the heavens.
Her father broke out in laughter ,"if your husband has given you the land and also bought them build materials for you whatever are you contributing yourself?"her father asked ,"I will be contributing more to the building ,I want to bring a paradise for those kids ,my mother-in-law's orphanage is at the top notch but I want something more advanced than that,"Cloe said .
"You have found a good mother-in-law to yourself that you have forgotten about your mother ?"Cloe heard her mother say,she turned and saw her mother on the stairs coming downstairs ,"of course not mother , mother-in-law is sweet but you know more than anyone that I can't forget about you mother ,"Cloe replied ,she stood up and went to meet her mother.
"What's wrong with you mother ,you don't look alright ,"Cloe who was hugging her mother broke the hug and asked,"thank goodness that you have noticed , come sit down and I will tell you what is wrong with me ,"her mother said, Cloe become afraid ,she feared that her mother was sick.
"Your mother is alright Cloe,she is just making you worry for nothing ,"her father said ,she looked at her father and then her mother and nodded her head to give her mother to go on with what she wanted to tell her.
"Wait until you are talked to ,"Cloe's mother said to her husband , Cloe looked at her both parents and guessed that they were on cold war,"Cloe , do you know what that man did ?"her mother asked pointing her father with her mouth.
"Well he took our my belongings and threw them away ,"she went ahead and said,"which belongings and why did he threw them away?"Cloe asked ,her mother remained silent ,she was afraid of naming the belongings that her husband threw away.
"Why don't you go ahead and tell her the belongings that I took from you ,"Cloe's father urged her but her mother didn't say a word ,"mother ,what did father take from you?"Cloe asked again,"Cloe let me tell you ,I found your mother hand sewing secretly,"her father said.
"What do you mean she was sewing secretly what about what the doctor said ?"Cloe asked looking at her father,"don't ask me ,ask her she is there with you"her father said , Cloe retrieved her gaze and looked at her mother.
"Mother ,the doctor said that you should let your hand rest ,if you continue hand sewing it won't be good , mother you do know that I love you sewing very much but I would rather see you with your both hands than see your sewing , do you want me to do because of worrying about you mother , worry that you will sew secretly and make the situation worse like it's already is?"Cloe asked ,she was almost crying .
Her mother was touched what her daughter has said ,she also felt like crying ,her family was just worried about her and she was acting stubborn ,she felt like hitting her head on the wall because of anger.
"Cloe dear, mother is very sorry , I promise that from now on I won't sew until the doctor permits me , even if he doesn't give his permission I won't sew again , don't cry mother is very sorry,"her mother said , Cloe couldn't help but look at her lovingly.
She opened her hands and they hugged each other, Cloe left after her mother promised not to sew again and after she made her father add a few millions to his contribution .
