Cloe spent the whole day thinking of what happened earlier, she tried to relax but she couldn't,was she really a horrible wife and a mother or were her husband and kids were the ones that were horrible.
They were the ones bad and not her,she tried to convince herself, firstly it was her stepdaughter who always picked fights with her, secondly was her kids who always took side with Stephanie and her husband who instead of defending her ,he is always yelling at her whenever she argues with Stephanie,he even spilled food to herself this morning and dirtied the dress she was wearing.
She wasn't worried about the dress ,her husband was very rich a dress worth of a few hundreds dollar wouldn't worry her.
Cloe has still wondering if she was horrible when Stephen come back from work,"you are already here?"Cloe asked him,"am very tired ,am going to take a shower before resting ,call me when the dinner is ready,"Stephen said and hurriedly walked away.
This didn't help Cloe's situation,she was sure that there was something wrong with her,her husband has come back and didn't care to ask her how she has been, she was suddenly sad, she had to change for the best.
Stephanie , Beatrice and John arrived home from the school,Cloe saw them walking past the living room and she called them,"hi , come and say hi to mother,"she called the kids,she had decided to be a good mother.
"Mother,am very tired ,the school work was very tiring and I still has more work that needs to be finished , please don't try to make trouble now,will you mother?"John saw trouble the moment he had his mother talk.
Cloe got closer to them, Stephanie didn't want trouble so she run to her room, Beatrice followed behind her, John saw that he was the only one remaining and felt a headache coming to prevent the headache he had to run away ,"John don't go yet I have something that I want to tell you,"Cloe said to John,she wanted to tell him her decision of being a good mother to the three of them.
John ignored his mother,he didn't understand why his mother liked creating trouble so much,he run to his room and left Cloe alone,Cloe was again dumbstruck,her own kids were running a way from her but she won't worry herself for nothing .
Even if they all run to their rooms , they would still come downstairs for dinner later ,she will take with them, they all had to hear what she had to say.
Suddenly it was time for dinner,Cloe called all of them, they all arrived at the dinning table but there was no food on the table,"why is there no food on the table,mum don't tell me that you called us even if the food isn't ready, what is your reason for calling us?"Beatrice asked her mother,Cloe was very lucky because she was Beatrice's mother , otherwise she could have taught her a good reason by now.
"The food is ready Beatrice but I wanted to have a talk with all of you before the food is served, please listen to me all of you,"Cloe said, everyone looked at her silently, Cloe was happy that they have decided to give her their attention.
"Guys I know I have become a troublesome of the past few days, I am a horrible wife and mother ,I have decided to change for the best ,I apologize to all of you,"Cloe said,"are you being serious mother?"John asked her.
"Am very serious John,"Cloe answered ,she hoped that they will believe in her ,"mother ,if you are serious like the way you are saying, you should first apologize to Stephanie properly,she is the one you have hurt the most,"John suggested.
Cloe was dumbstruck ,she has already apologized, what was the need to apologise again,"why do I have to apologise again John, she can forgive me if she wants and if she doesn't want to forgive me she can,"Cloe answered.
"Mother ,I knew you weren't serious, don't joke like this again,"Beatrice said, all this while Stephen and Stephanie haven't said a word , they were just watching the exchange between the mother and her children.
"Why can't you see that am trying my best to change,I had just swallowed my pride so that I can apologise?"Cloe asked, the stuff in the house were suprised , the Lady boss was just to much.
"I agree that you have swallowed your pride, but mother if you wanted to apologise you would have done it in a proper way"Beatrice advised,"what do you know about apologizing Beatrice ,what can teach me, you are my child ,you come into this world will I was still a grown I really doubt what a teenager like you would teach me,"Cloe yelled at Beatrice.
"Beatrice , Job I am very aware of the fact that someone has been brainwashing you , that's the reason you are turning against me,"Cloe said with much anger,she had tried to apologise but they weren't seeing her effort.
"Father, Beatrice and John I will go to the kitchen and get my dinner,I will have it in my room, all of you have a good night ,see you tomorrow morning,"Stephanie said and left, she was thinking of going to her grandparents house, she would hit her head on the head in anger if she continued living with Cloe understand the same roof.
Beatrice and John also took their food and left , reasoning with their mother wasn't something that they will never do,she had said that she wanted to apologise but caused more trouble instead, they didn't why she's had to blame Stephanie for everything.
Stephen was really conflicted,she didn't know if she was supposed to regret for advising and pressuring her father to get married , she had thought that he would be more happy but she was disappointed with the wife her father had taken in for a wife.
