"Gah!" Sameer, the truck driver, woke up with a gasp, and he looked around, only to find that he was sitting in the front seat of his truck, parked on the side of the road.
"What the fuck…" He murmured under his breath, confused as to what he was doing, sleeping on the truck. He rubbed his forehead, trying to remember what had happened, but to his surprise, he couldn't remember a single thing that happened that day, much to his dismay.
"Hold on a second! Wasn't today the day I was supposed to pick up the furniture?" Sameer's eyes widened with sudden realization, and a shade of concern darkened his features. He cast a quick glance around, anxiety mounting as he realized the day was swiftly transitioning into evening.
He had managed to sleep through the entire day.
