He opened his eyes and felt the bright sunshine penetrating straight in his eyes and a sharp pain that followed which forced him to shut back his eyes for a moment so his eyes could adjust to the sunlight.
After a while he opened his eyes again and was feeling a bit more comfortable looking at the sunlight. He was hesitant to rise up but he could not because his whole body was numb it was impossible for him to even raise his hand at that moment, he noticed that he had a lot of bandage attached to his body.
