Chapter 1 - Chapter - 1

Beyond the world we live on, somewhere in multi- dimension the word with unknown energy flowing in air.

The energy that kept the crown of 7 elements (Fire, Water, Nature , Earth, Air, Lighting and one unknown element )alive, and the crown that chooses its rightful owner.

"Ryuk, Prince Ryuk..."

you hear a feminine voice from a distance calling you softly.

You open your eyes slowly, and get up to sit by yourself on the bed and watch through the window.

You could barely see the sight of town through the irregular top end of the high walls which was probably damaged in the war that happened centuries ago surrounding the castle.

Slightly turning your head you see Milim staring at you with gentle and warm smile on her face. She is not a stranger, you know her quite well as she has been taking care of you for six years since your birth. As for who she is, She is the head maid of the castle and also a good friend of your mother Queen Rebika.

'You are the prince of Atlanta and the youngest son of King Grey, you are six years old as of today and also as of today you are one eligible heir of the Crown of unknown element '

you lay down on the bed again closing your eyes trying to get some sleep as you are unknown about the fact, what specific day is today.

"You will be turning six today" Milim says with the same gentle tone and in a moment of seconds she adds " Prince Ryuk as of today you are the official heir of the throne ".

You suddenly jump out of bed and stare at Milim with the surprised look on your face. "Or perhaps you forgot what day it is?" says Milim laughing gently with the same warm smile on her face, there is no sarcasm in her tone and her tone remains gentle and comforting as always.

Your eyes open widen and as you rush to make your self ready Milim helps you in the process. You remember what day it is, in Atlanta all the heir must train once they are six years old, and you know from today onward your day to day life is gonna be a lot more different and difficult.

Every heir starts their training with their personal knight choosen by their king, and they are allowed to have only one mentor. Those knights are usually highly skilled and experienced knight who has proven their loyalty to the king and the kingdom. you walk through the hallway wondering who is gonna be your mentor.

You are alone by yourself in corridor, You inhale a deep breath and start exploring the portraits hanging on the walls since there's nothing fun to do at this moment.

One of them is the portrait of your father, King Grey. He's an intimidating man with a muscular build and blond hair that passes his shoulders. His piercing blue eyes are burning with rage and passion.

It's a shame that you haven't seen him in person yet. As he is busy managing the other factors and terms of his kingdom.

Moving on, you let your gaze fall on another portrait on the wall. It's the painting of you and your siblings standing together with a proud look on your faces. You were approximately three years old when it was painted.

Moving on, you let your gaze fall on another portrait on the wall. It's the painting of you and your siblings standing together with a proud look on your faces. You were approximately three years old when it was painted.

The painter has included the king's wives in the drawing as well. Your mother looks confident and cold, while your father's other wife, Queen Isabelle, has a warm smile on her face.

As you walk past the garden on your way to the Training ground you see a knight in light armour holding two wooden swords in his hand. Right the moment you walk in, he greets you and introduce him self as Sir Roman, one of the finest knight serving the kingdom.

you were about to enter the training ground, Milim calls you and says "Don't think anything unnecessary and keep focusing on your training" and after a short break she continues "Being the fourth prince it doesn't mean you have lost, the hope shines bright ahead of you"

Being the fourth-born child of the king has some advantages as well as difficulties. You have a chance to observe your siblings as they go through stressful training and lectures. You know what to expect when you reach the legal age of being a successor.

However, only a few see you as a potential leader. For unknown reasons, the Crown rarely chooses the youngest heir. You remember your mother saying that throughout history, only two monarchs were the last-born children. Perhaps experience is more important than skill.

You begin training with your mentor, in process dodging and parrying all your attacks Sir Roman asks you " What you want to be once you grow up? Are you interested to rule this kingdom or perhaps you are training just because you are forced to as certain someone". Silence falls in air for a moment and then you reply "I want to be the King, I want to be choosen by the crown, I know there's a difficult path ahead of me but still I DESIRE TO BE THE KING AND RULE OVER THIS KINGDOM" Sir Roman could see the seriousness in your eyes and is also quite surprised wondering how could a six year old kid such coldness and confidence in his eyes, Having a sight of confidence, excitement and happiness in his face he says " Well well well, I shall as well train you to be the strongest one in this nation, and as well raise a new King". You node your head with the gentle smile and continue dashing toward Sir Roman

Sir Roman asks you to charge in with all your might, As you charge toward Sir Roman you ask "Who is the certain someone you mentioned before?" with a gentle and fading smile in his face he replies "Who knows, you shall know with the time". Hearing him you decide not to force inorder to get the answer and u quietly continue training.

You didn't expect your first training experience to be so painful. Your back hurts from falling to the ground too many times. You're sure there will be bruises all over your body afterwards.

However, Sir Roman doesn't seem like he intends to stop. You understand the importance of fighting skills since you're one of the heirs to the throne: since no one knows who the Crown will choose, all princes and princesses of Atlanta must improve their swordsmanship and political skills.

After four hour of harsh training Sir Roman ends the silence " lets end the training for today, You seem too tired but worry not you have done quite well for the beginner and if you intend to show the same excitement in your training in future you are destined to be the great warrior..." before Sir Roman could end you interrupt "Am I not destined to be the leader?". Sir Roman don't seem to be annoyed for being interrupted but he seems more happy to see the flames of desire to be the Great Leader within you "Having a perfect swordsmanship and Combat art makes you great warrior not a leader, being a leader is much more difficult than being a warrior, A great leader must be good in politics, leadership and also must have a quality to encourage the people's of one kingdom"

You try your best to understand what Sir Roman meant but with the six year old brain you are unable to understand. Sir Roman notices the dumfounded expression om your face and adds "You might find it hard to understand, Its obvious you won't get what I am saying but with the time u will understand, With great power comes the great responsibility". You couldn't speak a word, You barely understood what Sir Roman said. You blankly stared at him wondering he meant trying to figure out answer in his face. As time passes it Sir Roman starts feeling awkward and inorder to break free from it he says "Milim said you are quite fond of Magic" you look at the sky raising your hands toward the sun "I am, I think magic is the unsolved mystery in this world"

"I see you are quite interested in magic after listening to countless stories of Milim, and It is interesting in itself too" says Sir Roman

"Do I really have to wait for another two years to learn magic and mana absorption" you show disappointment in your tone. Sir Roman laughs and says "Rules are rul..." you interrupt before he could finish his words "Mother told me in rules it is mentioned we get our magic teacher after we are eight but it is never mentioned we can't learn magic on our own"

Sir Roman don't seem annoyed for being interrupted but rather he seems to be in deep thought regarding what you said, Right at the moment when you were about to speak Sir Roman say's "I will talk to high priest about it, if he agrees then you might be able to learn magic soon enough, but don't expect too much, he is man of rules so it solely depends on him" hearing what he said you give a sign of relief and he adds again "Well you have worked hard today so reward yourself with a proper rest" finishing his words he could see the sight of disappointment in your face but you also know that this fragile body of your wont be able to take more than this so you agree and walk out of training ground.

End of chapter one...
