"You're hired. Welcome to the team, Lucy," Charlotte welcomed Ginger with a sweet smile as she shook Ginger's hand.
Ginger was not thrilled to work as her rival's secretary but if she wanted to take revenge, she should endure her current situation. She had to get closer to Charlotte and Charlie, find their weaknesses, break them apart, and sabotage their entire life. Out of hatred, she wanted to ruin them.
"Thank you, Charlotte," Ginger said, plastering a smile on her face. "I am looking forward to working with you."
"How soon can you start?" Charlotte asked and let go of Ginger's hand.
"I can start —" Ginger trailed off when someone knocked on the door and from the other side, Ginger heard a very familiar voice that made her heart ache.
"It's Charlie. Can I come in?" he asked.
