Naira sits in the chair of the taxi. By the window, she feels restless since coming out of her house. Since being married to Gunawan, she has never left the house without asking her husband's permission, except when she and Gunawan go together. But this was his decision after he asked Sabina about Yogi's illness.
'What's wrong with your father? And where was he treated?'
'Heart cancer stage 3. Hospital B, mom! This morning, my father passed out in his room, bleeding profusely. And now he is in a coma. And he is still in the ICU.'
Naira cannot refuse when she reads a message from Sabina. She hurried to change clothes to call a taxi. Like this time, in the taxi. She looked worried. Her fingernails clashed, an old habit she couldn't break when she was nervous and anxious.
Gunawan's wife is well aware of how Yogi treats her badly. However, he wanted to put the pain aside. Putt aside for the healing and goodness of Yogi and Sabina. But why? Why should he be asked to take care of Yogi? Then where is Yogi's wife?
This is the question that keeps on bothering her mind at the moment. She didn't want this to be a misunderstanding between Gunawan and Yogi. She sighed, her eyes looking out, then straight ahead beyond the windshield. She was afraid the traffic jam would make her late.
The taxi wheel keeps going, then turn left after a fork and a red light. The highway today looks free and free from traffic jams. It didn't take long until the taxi that Naira was riding had stopped in front of the hospital lobby door. just as her daughter had mentioned in the chat.
Naira gets down after paying the taxi fare money. She stood up, there was no doubt when she wanted to come to this hospital. However, she didn't want her daughter to hate her anymore. Sabina is a little antipathetic to her in chat. Naira feels, there is hatred for Sabina, maybe it's just her feelings. However, she felt that way.
Her breath sounded very heavy. She didn't know if this decision was the best for her. But back to Sabina, for Naira, Sabina is the most important. "Hopefully, My Husband doesn't misunderstand what I'm doing," said Naira. She then stepped inside.
"I'm sorry, dear!" Naira's voice was so soft as she made up her mind to go further into her ex-husband's life.
In the lobby, she was already waiting for Sabina. However, Naira did not recognize what her daughter looked like. She had not paid attention to Sabina's growth since he was brought by Yogi when she was three years old. Sabina is now 15 years old.
"Mom!" Her voice diverts Naira's gaze, who was looking around among the many people passing by in front of her.
"S-Sabina?" Call Naira nervous. The girl had grown very beautiful with flowing black hair and snow-white skin. The girl ran to hug the mother she had not seen in 12 years. She never knew what her mother's face looked like. She only knew her mother was still alive. Contrary to what Yogi said to her.
The girl hugged Naira tightly, treating her longing. Naira was the same, she couldn't help but miss her daughter who was separated for twelve years. Naira's tight hug seemed to cure the longing that she had been hiding for so long. "Sabina, I didn't think that I could see you again, sweety!"
"Me too, Mom! I didn't think that you were still alive!" Sabina said that made Naira a little shocked.
"Your father never told me about Me, honey?"
Sabine shook her head.
"Daddy always said that you were dead!"
Degh!
Naira's heart stopped for a moment. The word 'died' made Naira's heartache. She never thought, her ex-husband would say something that never happened to her.
"Why did Yogi say that? Does he want to separate me from Sabina? And he also wants Sabina to forget me forever?" she whispered in disbelief at the thoughts of her ex-husband being mean to her.
"Then how did you know mom was still alive, Sabina?"
Sabina inquired curiously.
"Grandmother!" said Sabina. And her words always surprised Naira.
"Your Grandmother?"
Sabine nodded.
Naira remembers that she met her in-laws while shopping at the mall. Coincidentally she met her when she was about to go to the bathroom. Naira remembers the incident very well. They never get to chat with each other. Unfortunately, her mother-in-law claimed not to know the whereabouts of Yogi and her grandchild.
The woman sighed, "Apparently, mom lied to me too!" she muttered softly. She felt cheated in any way she felt before, as long as his marriage to Yogi lasted.
"Well, we better hurry to your father's room," said Naira. She didn't want to remember the past that made her heart hurt.
She and Sabina walked for a while, then stopped at the room marked ICU in front of Naira. Naira's heart was beating fast. She had not seen Yogi for a long time. She also doesn't know what to say and do to her and Yogi's wife.
Sabina had already walked in first, "Mom, please come on in!" Naira nods.
Once again, he took a deep breath. It took great courage to face Yogi and his wife.
Naira is held by Sabina. There is a feeling of joy when her daughter holds her fingers. It's been a long time since Naira wanted to hold her fingers while spreading a smile like now, even though Sabina isn't smiling right now.
In the room, Naira is already wearing green clothes. She saw the figure of Yogi lying helpless. The dashing man who had married her was in a state of concern. Naira's eyes look for Yogi's wife. But, she doesn't see the new wife of her ex-husband. Naira is very curious about who exactly is the woman that Yogi married after being caught cheating five times. However, Yogi accused her of having an affair with Gunawan, who only once took her home and told her to stop working. Yogi's excessive suspicion makes her constantly accuse him of being a woman who likes cheating.
Instantly, his memory returned to the bitter memories that made him feel again how to hurt his heart was. Memories that always get bad treatment from Yogi during his marriage, and Naira can't help but forget all of it from her memory.
