We step down to the third floor, and it is a wide place. As we walked around half an hour had already passed and we still didn't see any sign of monsters around us.
Also we were quite surprised at the number of questions popping up in the metal tablet.
We were solely focused on it rather than fighting. So we were more like tourists walking inside a dungeon.
"Wow the questions are popping here and there."
"Well that's to be expected the threshold of every floor usually changes on the third, fifth or tenth floor."
James suddenly explained to us how the dungeon works.
"Do we sometimes base the rank of a dungeon based on these changes?"
"Yes, Small dungeons usually undergo huge changes every third floor. with their maximum floor being three to fifteen floors. while medium are every five floors, with twenty to fifty floors. and after that are the large dungeons that have about a hundred floors."
"Oh, so that means this is a small dungeon."
"That's right."
"What about the traveling dungeon then?"
That I don't know but many speculate it's a hundred, so a large dungeon I guess."
As expected there wasn't any record about the traveling dungeon after all it's been a long time since a traveling dungeon was exposed for all to see.
And the hero and his party were the ones who dive in it. So maybe they tried to limit the information about it as much as possible to avoid having a weak hero or an evil one.
"Um, do the eight towers also count as a large dungeon?"
Hearing that some may thought it was disrespectful, but somehow we were also curious.
"Oh that, one of our professors did speculate it as a large dungeon but in the end it was not proven to be one even with the facts on hand because multiple religions don't want it to be considered as a dungeon."
"Ah that's to be expected I guess."

As we were talking we suddenly heard a rough breathing and footsteps with it we saw a silhouette from afar.
So without thinking much about it we were in our stance as we were waiting for the silhouette to take shape before we attacked.
And oh boy what a good decision that was because what showed up was the group BK was with.
Strangely enough though BK wasn't with them as well as their guide Jester.
"huff-huff.. so…its.. you…guys…"
"What's going on?" asked James.
"We..were suddenly…attacked….by…dungeon crawlers."
"You gotta be joking."
"It's true! huff huff."
"HAhh fuuuu haahhh. Anyway, we need to report that Richard and senior Jester are blocking them somehow."
"Okay You guys help them go up, especially your Anglos you can avoid traps easily after all."
"Okay." I agreed as that is quite doable.
"As for me, I'm gonna help them. So where are they?"
As James was about to go we were blocked off.

"It's the dungeon crawler!p
"They are already here."
boom!
As were panicking with the sudden appearance of the dungeon crawler.
We heard a loud crashing sound behind us and when we looked at what it was we were surprised because it wasn't an it, it was a who and that who, being BK.

It has already been four hours since the start of the exam. And most of the students were alr ady finished with their exams.
Out of nowhere a student bumps to a school staff on his way and with it the stacks of paper and materials fell off.
"What the heck are you doing!?."
"I'm so sorry."
"Sorry? You messed up all of the paperwork. All of this was organized."
"I'm really sorry."
"Haaa. Help me with cleaning it up and arrange it for me."
"Yes sir."
The student complied as he was clearly at fault and along the way he saw a paper with an ominous sign written in it.
"So there was also danger in low level dungeons huh."
"What are you slacking off for? "
"Oh sorry sir I was just surprised that there are these kind of danger in small dungeon like this "
"Huh? Let me see."
The staff was intrigued so he took the paper. And what he saw terrified him.
"Sh*t, I need to go. Finish that before I return. Got it?"
"Yes?"
The staff ran fast as the student was still confused about what happened. So with no choice he just continued cleaning the mess he made.

In a tent near the Dungeon exploration exam. A teacher was checking the files of the dungeon that were supposed to be raided today.
"Hmmm, nothing seems to be a problem."
After reading through everything he said to the teacher that was with him his thoughts.
"See, everything is good. which he replied with great confidence."
"Well, I guess you really did your job huh."
"Told you, there's nothing to worry about."
"So that's that huh. All that's left is to see the reports of each guide to also finish their exam as well as check the Magic Tablet of the students."
"I guess so."
As everything was about to be over someone entered their tent in a rush.

"Excuse me."
"I believe you should have said that before entering."
"I'm sorry but this is really important. "
He hurriedly explained himself as he showed him the papers that were with him.
"What's this?" And as expected he was asked the reason for this paper.
"I saw this earlier due to some accident. And I noticed that this is recent and that it should be addressed right away."
He gave a rough explanation as he tried to tell them its importance.
"Okay I will take a look."
So without much thought he took a peek thinking it was nothing until his attention was totally driven by the papers. In which he yelled loudly to one of the teachers whom he thought did a great job in examining the examination site.
"You bastard!"
"What?"
Surprised by the sudden treatment he asked for the reason.
"You didn't do your job properly!"
"What do you mean?"
"Look."
"Let me see."
So without much choice he took a look at the papers and after reading it he was surprised.
"I'm f**k*d."
"So am I. So if you have an ounce of conscience, round up a group for there might be students exploring the place."
"Okay I'm on it." With a fast pace response he moved out looking for a team to help them.
After he left the other teacher who yelled at him looked at the staff that gave him the crucial report.
"You. "
"Yes sir."
"Good work."
"Thank you sir."
After he was given a gesture of thanks he also returned the favor but following this is another question which bothered the teacher.
"Also who was inside the dungeon at the moment."
"Most of the group had already left. Last time I checked there were about two groups inside. a good amount of time had already passed so they might have left already."
"Good, hopefully they have in this way we won't have any future problems because of this."
"I hope so as well sir."
They both express their own thoughts not knowing that those two groups were already being surrounded by dungeon crawlers.

"There's no end to them."
"Yeah the only saving grace is that they somehow consisted of only rank one and two dungeon crawlers."
"That's right, hey Anglos, how is Richard?"
"He is doing alright, his wounds aren't that life threatening and just unconscious."
"Maybe because he is a berserker knight that his body was able to take that blow."
"How can you guys be so casual about this? We are being surrounded by hundreds of monsters, you know!"
"Shut up! We've been through worse so this is nothing."
"That's right so instead of acting like a brat how about thanking us.
"Yeah, especially Anglos since he helped make a barricade for us against these monsters."
"That's right."
"Oh, sorry, you're right, thank you."
"But still I believe we won't last long here. After all there is a rank four dungeon crawler earlier. and that might be the reason for Richard being blown away."
"Like I said, stop lowering our morale, plus we already said we were in a much more serious predicament. "
"That's right. Although the Bolt is not with us, Anglos did a good job making a barricade."
"True as long as we hold on we might be able to beat all of them before the teachers arrive."
"Yeah that would definitely shock them."
"You guys are crazy."
"But I really do hope we will survive with our current predicament."
"That's the spirit so stop whining and help us."
"I guess those rumors were true after all."
"What rumors?"
"That you guys survive a hellish battle field."
Looking at each other they made a bitter smile and said.
"You can't imagine what we've been through."
