Chapter 77 - Chapter 77 Stopping The Mud Wave (2)

Seeing as they were not able to respond, the guild master made his next move.

"Everyone, let's wrap this up now."

"""Yes sir."""

Everyone complied and did as they were told.

What the guild master didn't know was that she awakened after a few seconds of his attack.

She just lost her strength from the impact but still has some of her consciousness left.

'Is this how it's going to end?'

Thinking it's over, her body loses strength.

"Now where are those handcuffs?"

Looking for his handcuffs, the girl looks even paler.

'I hope my sister will be safe. Well, she is with our leader, so I'm sure he'll protect her.'

She reassures herself, thinking that her sister will be safe.

"Can you guys give me a handcuff? I think I left mine somewhere, and I can't find them."

"""Huh?""" They were surprised, but just for a moment, and they walked to him to give him the handcuffs.

Seeing as the handcuffs were about to be put on her, the light in her eyes lost color.

Until she heard the voice of her sister resound in her mind.

'Big sis, it hurts. It's painful. Please, please save me. I don't want this anymore. Please help me.'

What came to mind was not just the voice but also the pain she suffered. And that's when she realized that they were hated not only by the people around them but also by their leader.

She heard something about the bloodline that made the leader hate them. Not knowing the reason for all the suffering they received, she was left confused, but even more so, she felt anger.

She trusted him. She did everything because of his promise, but now that her sister is in a bad situation, she won't let anything stand by anymore.

Gathering the mana around her, she absorbs the remaining mana crystals inside her bag.

"What the-"

Surprise, but what happened? The guild master moved fast to stop her, but it was too late, for she had already absorbed all the mana cores.

Then they're all blown away by the strong surge of mana around her.

With no way out, he told the rest to retreat, for he knew that the woman in front of him was at least more powerful than those with him.

"Retreat now."

"But sir. With us together, we can defeat her.

"You won't be of help. you'll only be a hindrance. Now leave!

"Ok, then we will be going now, guild master."

Then they left the guild master, taking the pure elemental user with them.

As they left, the energy gathered around her subsided, and there she was standing with great determination on her face.

"Move, I have no time to deal with you."

"I don't know what is going on with you, but this is work, nothing personal."

"I said, move."

She then waved her hand, and there burst forth a spell made with water and earth.

Whoosh

"Hiyah!" The guild master then punch the spell

Boom

Then two powers collide, canceling each other.

"I may be just a close-range fighter, but I am still one of the best, so this type of attack won't do anything to me."

As he said, she found herself running in another direction.

"Hey, now don't go away. I still need to put you behind bars."

Seeing as she left, he followed after her.

"I said, leave me be."

As she was running away, she attacked him again with more spells.

"No can do."

The guild master denied it, as he dodged all her attacks as well as canceling some of them.

"How persistent," she said angrily.

She then stops moving, thinking she cannot get out of here. She thought of just finishing up here so that she could go to her sister.

She then activated her powers' bloodline ability.

Seeing as she activated something. He thought that there might be some kind of hidden effects.

And he wasn't wrong for the water and earth around him was bending to her will.

"Let's see if you can survive this."

She then attacked her with multiple spells at the same time.

"What? How are you able to do this?"

"The same way I tried to destroy your city."

He was surprised, but he still fought back hard and was able to get close to her.

"Too bad you wouldn't be able to touch me."

She said as she slammed a greater force of power on him.

"Not enough; I'm still going strong, kid. Try better next time."

He said this as he moved to attack her again.

~~~~~~~~
The wave had subsided. But only after waiting for at least ten minutes did I stop Titan from spinning.
I then slowly stopped him from spinning and asked him to retract his blades.
And as he did so, I asked him how he was feeling.
[How are you, bud?]
KuuwuUUuuwUU.
[Yup, he's dizzy.]
He answered like he was drunk. Well, I can't blame him I also felt dizzy, even though I was the one spinning him.
[Let's get you some rest.]
KuWUuu.
After hearing his woozy answer, I canceled my summoning magic and returned him to his nest.
I then sat down to recover from what had just happened.
'Well, then, I hope the assault team can finish them off fast.'
As I was thinking of that, a person arrived before me. And it was the principal.
"Let's go, Sir Bolt."
"Um, I'm still tired."
As he asked for me to follow him, I denied it.
'I guess the guild master wasn't the only one who was thinking of seeing my limit, huh?'
"Don't say that we need to assist the assault team."
But he still insists.
"But Mr. Principal I was really getting dizzy from the attacks earlier.
And there I gave my excuse to him."
"What about me? I was handling the repairs to the barrier. And look, even with my age, I can still get myself to do more. So don't make that excuse."
He then made a sound argument against me.
'Well, I don't know how old you are, but please don't drag me into this.'
'Yes, I am still young, but I am very young, and I can still get tired fast. I'm still fourteen, for goodness sake.'
"Sorry but–"
"Let's go."
As I was about to continue to explain, he just grabbed my wrist and dragged me with him.
'What the heck?'
~~~~~~~~

And before I knew it, we had arrived at the rendezvous point.

"Good, everyone is here."

When we arrived, the governor was glad everyone was here.

And started the meeting.

'It seems like we were the only ones left, huh?'

"We had apprehended most of them. at every location."

"So there are still more?"

"Yes, they would most likely be in their hideout, so we need to interrogate the captured individuals."

"Okay, then let's start."

"Wait, where's the guild master?"

As the discussion was about to reach an agreement, a staff member from the guild suddenly asked for the whereabouts of their superior.

"He is fighting right now. A person who was with the guild master in the assault gave the reason."

"But everyone from the assault team is already here."

"True, but the person responsible for the mud tsunami is his target, and her strength is at least equivalent to his."

Explained by another.

"That means we need to follow up with him and help him."

"That's the only option."

They continued to create plans while I was here listening to avoid getting lost and making a mistake.

~~~~~~~~~~
"Huff huff. Now that's done, I need to go save her."
She then left after creating a huge crater.
"Please be safe. Big sister is coming to save you."
She moved fast with that in her mind.
"Gohoh gohoh. Damn, that was one heck of an attack. Good thing my bloodline ability is hard skin. If not, I would definitely be a bloody mess right now."
Standing up, he noticed that even though he doesn't have any external wounds, that doesn't mean the inside doesn't have one.
"O-ouch ouch. That is one heck of an internal injury. I guess even with all that defense, it is impossible to protect against internal impacts."
"Haaa." He sighed as he looked around.
"Now then, where is she going? Let's just hope it's their hideout."
He said this as he looked at the device in his hand.
"I didn't expect the academy's technology would be useful in this situation. If it weren't for this, I would have definitely followed her for nothing."
~~~~~~~~~

"AHahahaha. Finally, her body is finally close to healing just a little more, and I—"

Bam!

"That's quite rude, child."

He said this as he looked at the person attacking him.

"If that's what it takes to save her, then I will be as rude as I need to be."

"Heh. What a waste. Let's cool your head down for a bit," he said as she blasted ice, encapsulating her.

"Now stay there for a bit. It would be a waste for your sister to see you die."

He said this as he left her there.
