Chapter 62 - Chapter 62 Star Impact (4)

"So what is the reason for the contract beast to go there?"

"Nothing much is just speculation that they were also created like the spirits were."

"Is that so?"

As they were done discussing, I was already in my own world, thinking of ways to increase the progress of my mastery of Star Impact.

The day continued, and I had to go to class as I was still deep in thought.

Many thoughts have come to mind as this goes on.

There are possibilities and contradictions to all my ideas, but still following the format of the five elements and science, I now have the basic foundation for my idea.

The only thing left is how to arrange them. Because the wrong mix can turn into a disaster.

"Mister Anglos!"

"Yes, Sir! "

"What are you doing?"

"""Ahahhaha"""

"Quiet!"

I was then yelled at during alchemy class. And my classmates laughed at me.

"Do you know you almost made the room explode?"

"Eh?" Looking at the glasses and vials on the table and in hand. 'Yup I would definitely blow the place up.'

"You have to follow my instructions and stop daydreaming! Understand?"

"Yes Sir!"

"Now mix the needed flax with the chemicals that I had instructed to stabilize the solution."

"Yes sir. I then followed his instructions, and got his approval."

"Good, keep it up. But not the daydreaming."

"Yes." Helpless, I answered.

"Remember, no matter how strong the effect of a good potion is, as long as it's too much, then it's poison. Or, in Mr. Anlgos' case, property damage or terrorism. So be careful, okay?"

"Yes sir."

"Now a good balance is good and all, but if Mr. Anglos did use those solutions he had earlier, I can still prevent it."

"By strength, sir?"

"Very funny. I'm an alchemist, so I do what alchemists do. To create solutions to problems."

As the teacher continued class and kept on making fun of me, which I rightfully deserve, he showed us some chemicals.

"I will drop certain chemicals, and among these are those that can help stabilize or act as a stopper. But it isn't always a solution, so having good equipment is nice to have during the mixing of chemicals."

Our Alchemy teacher continued class, but my mind went and wondered again.

'That's right, a stopper to balance the ratio. I can do that because controlling the strength is my focus now since I can already use it.'

And I will only increase my strength when I am used to it.

kind of like the green-haired guy from an anime who wanted to be a hero. limit the effect and increase it gradually.

(A character grom My Hero Academia)

'I got it!'

Pok

"Ow." Out of nowhere, a chalk came flying at me and hit my head, and I was late to react.

"Mr Anglos Please leave my class. You are endangering me and your fellow classmates."

"Yes, sir, I'm sorry." I apologized as I got out.

'Damn, still, I got something out of it, so I guess that's fine.'

As I left, the lecture inside continued, as for me I took out my notes and wrote down my insights.

~~~~~~~~~
Since the insights I gained that day, a few months have already passed.
A lot happened in Labyrinth City during the months that passed. Events happened here and there.
As for my situation in school, there wasn't much of a problem since the interference from my classmates lessened.
Then there's BK, who wants to beat me up, with a tiger look in his eyes.
Still, I was glad to survive those hardships until my fourteenth birthday.
'Yup, I am now fourteen. I was also trying to establish a connection with Dustin again, but I can't.'
Since I didn't get knocked unconscious in those months that passed. And it's not like I can knock myself out, though.
Still, I tried meditating like in the TV shows. It didn't work.
Anyway, like what happened on my seventh birthday, a milestone has been passed for most of us.
And many of us in the first years had already produced their own cores. This also included BK.
Now he doesn't bother me much, since he started working even harder.
Anyway, now I am forming my third core. After gaining those insights, my strength increased significantly.
And my success rate at the guild increased. That I would sometimes get personal requests.
Now I need to release the seal on one of my cores.
So I need to create clothing for that. So I need to visit that tortoise later.
Which is weird, though I thought he would grow large. But he was still the same.
"Alright, everything's in place."
Right now, I am creating runes and mana cores with my affinity in my room in the store.
Because I will be forming my third core here.
"And now that I am done, let's start."
Unlike the first two, my process of creating it now is very fluid.
Ever since reaching my milestone, I have been able to use my surrounding mana more easily.
Making me rush for my breakthrough.
Although it seems fluid, ranking up isn't always easy, like the first time.
Because you need room for it in your root core. The reason why many don't rank up fast.
The other is the accumulation of mana. One needs to replenish their mana in a regular pattern that makes it easy to flow from the roots to the core. In short, ease of mana accessing in and out of the body.
And finally, when all is accomplished, the last phase is the creation of cores with the previous core.
This requires accurate and precise control over the previous core, and this was hard for me during the second creation of my core.
Why is this needed? To be able to create affinity between the cores and not destroy the balance of the formed foundations.
"Now let's see if I can do it better than before the milestone."
Gathering all the mana in the surrounding area, little by little, I was able to accumulate the needed amount in my calculations, but I want to be greedy, so let's get more.
So I bloated myself with mana. And amazingly enough, my thin roots were able to hold onto them. To make it even more amazing, all the mana I have gathered is of high purity.
'I guess that's enough.' Feeling like I couldn't take more mana, I started the process.
Orbiting around the two cores created a space in the middle, and this is where I will make my core.
First on the agenda is the production class for balance.
Second, the magic class. To gather more mana. And it did, more mana was being absorbed.
'Shoot, my mana is getting depleted fast. It should have been the other way.'
Suddenly, a mistake occurred; this hadn't happened before. Now I have insufficient mana.
Calming myself down, I decided to increase my pace.
Then the revolution of my cores increased, and now, with meticulous work, I finished my magic class core.
'Huuf. Now down to the last push.'
Squeezing all of my mana, I sealed the deal by finishing it with the warrior class core.
Now it's done. Whew. I thought I would dry up and lose my progress. Or worse, damage my roots.
There are many side effects to failing to create a core; there are mild ones and those that, down right, will make you wish you were dead.
It's a good thing that didn't happen to me.
And now my cores are finished. And yes, cores, because during the process in which a new core is created by an old one, they also benefit from the flow of mana.
So whatever improvement is done on the new one, it will be added to the old ones; right now they are better than new.
And to make it better, I added my insight to Star Impact. So I can use Star Impact much more easily now, I guess.
Now that I'm done, I really want to try it out. But for now, let's get out first.
When I got out, I was greeted by my workers.
"What is it? What are you doing out here?"
"Um, boss, I heard you have a very low chance of creating a core."
"Yeah, a lot of people are saying that."
'Oh, apparently there is gossip about me saying I won't produce a core, huh?'
Let's reassure them that I can do it. Still, I can't tell them I already have three, so until I am able to create that clothing, I will tell them the good news.
"Don't worry, I just had my fourteenth birthday this week, so I will definitely have a chance."
"Really?"
"Yes, so don't worry, okay?"
"Okay, I believe you boss."
"Me too."
I feel bad for lying to them, but I still have to do it.
"And once I do have my core, we will have a feast!"
"Really?"
"""Yay!"""
The kids then jumped with joy after hearing about the celebration.
'That's good, but I wonder who would spread such a rumor and for what purpose?'
