Then he showed me at least thirty men and women. Their age ranging from ten to thirty they are not old and not too young.
Well if you consider this world's standard, ten years old is not that young. I mean my sister is getting marriage requests from many people, those who are older than our parents.

The slave trader was about to kick. But then I stopped him.

"If You try to hurt her I better get a discount from damaged goods."

Hearing what I said, the girl told me her pleas.
"I know this is too much to ask but can you also include my sisters with me."
Hearing her request makes me think I guess it's okay after all I got tons of cash from my recent business at the empire so I guess this could be acceptable.
"Show them to me as long as they are worth something. I could be an exception."
"Ah thank you."
"Please lead the way." I said that as I faced the slave trader.
"Of course sir this way."
I followed the slave trader and arrived at the basement of the place and here they showed me three children. And surprisingly they seemed to be beastmen.
"They are beastmen?"
"They unlocked their bloodline talent."
"Oh I see."
Bloodline talent, unlike my regeneration ability there are some bloodline abilities that change a person's body and this here is an example of those. Although bloodline abilities are dream of some since activating is quite hard. But in every positive view there are also negative ones like what happened to these children. Because it is very likely that they have been bullied because of this.
Sighing to myself I just accepted this outcome. And said to them "Fine then I'll buy them."

They thanked me and just as everything was supposed to be over I suddenly saw a person that seemed to be a corpse inside a cell.

Listening to the slave trader I noticed that she was still breathing. And this made me think I don't know if it's effective but since there is a chance I want to try and maybe I can save her.

Now a lot happened and this might be wasting money but all is said and done now I have bought seven slaves and a small building.

Although there is nothing in there yet since I am living at an inn it is best to set boundaries for now since I can't trust them completely. So if ever I put important documents or materials there they would learn what to do.

As I was about to go into one of the rooms here one of the slaves stopped me and asked a question. Man she really is quite fearless huh well it's not like being quiet is even better I mean I usually don't voice out my mind so having one like her might be convenient.

Not knowing what she was talking about since I don't know any Claire among them I guess that it was this girl beside me who I am pushing with a wheelchair.

Then a question came into mind: if she was like the leader of the group then why was she like this?
"You might be wondering why huh. It is because she was a rank 4 spirit mage. And this happened to her when she was bought by a very ruthless owner."

"That's because we weren't here at labyrinth city before she was at that state. She was bought at the border of a certain country we came from but since we are slaves we know nothing about the place. Now this is making me feel guilty. I only bought her since I thought I could do experiments on her but now that she said that I guess I need to do something about this huh.
Thinking so I entered a room as I pushed Claire inside.

I tried speaking to her but to no avail she just doesn't seem to cooperate.
I guess I just have to try it huh.
So I took out a bottle of potion. This potion is one of the reasons why I have tons of money right now.
Its effects are quite impactful for those who are rootless and injured people.
Well that is the normal version of this. Because this one is a highly concentrated potion that I made many experiments on and it somehow works on monsters and animals which I onced tried.
But not yet on a human so Claire here will be my test subject for this potions effect.
Hoping for the best I inject the potion to her. I mean it's like I can drink it after she looks very scrawny not to mention she has dry skin.
After injecting the potion I waited for a few minutes then an hour but nothing happened okay I guess the potion doesn't work huh.
Thinking so, I left and called one of the girls.

I told them what to do as I took out food within my storage item.

The next morning I ride a carriage as I head to my very first shop.

Preparing myself for the worst I gathered my mana silently only to be interrupted by one of the girls.
