[16 months later]
"Gael!" Isabel was calling him while panting."Just slow down a bit!I'm not as athletic as you are!" her cheeks were red and a few of her hair strands were sticking on her forehead,the rest of the hair was flowing freely with the wind.It wasn't as long as it were before.
Gael who about 10 meters far from her stopped continuing up the hill.
"Tsk,tsk!" He clicked his tounge after Isabel finally catched on.There was not trace of sweat nor tiredness on him.It was like he was walking on a straight road and not climbing a hill."Isa,you really need to exercise more.Your stamina is worse than my grandfathers.He also climbed this hill and wasn't as slow as you.How about you start working out with me?"
Isabel shivered at the thought and remembered the times she had exercised with Gael.This guy had the energy of a monster and did running for fun.For fun!Isabel almost got a heart attack when she ent with him on a morning run.And that wasn't all to it.Back then she had been aching all over and couldn't get out of bed for a week.
She had thought he might've toned his exercise down now in his 30s.Isabel had naively thought that,but had to learn her lesson the hard way.
"No,no!No!I'm good!"
Gael reached out his hand to pull her up and continued dragging her himself.
"Now,now.As your boyfriend,I should always look out for my beautiful girlfriends health.I mean..." he paused and eyed her body "Stamina is really important."
Isabel expresionlessly looked at him and hit his shoulder.Gael didn't mind and continued up the hill.After the quarter of an hour they managed to arrive at the top of the hill.
"We're here."
The sun hadn't set yet.The golden rays illuminated the rivers making them seem like golden veins on the valley.
Isabel gasped in amazement.
"Gael,this,this is so beautiful!How did you find this place?"
Gael put his hand on her shoulder and brought her closer to himself and then kissed her forehead.
"I've been wanting to bring you here since 2 years ago.I found this place during the trip with my father and grandfather.Do you like it?"
"Do I like it?I love it!This is just so amazing!Thanks for bringing me here!" Isabel then snuggled with him and turn to look again at the view."Quickly,take some pictures,I want to hang one when we get our own home."
"Already on it." Gael had took the camera hanged on his neck and kept taking pictures of the place.He then turned to look at Isabel who was still looking at the valley with an enamoured expression.It was really beautiful.
Gael reflexively took a shot of it and then proceeded to do so again.He wanted to carve that picture inside his head so that memory could last forever.
Isabel noticed something was strange and turned her head to look at him and Gael managed to catch her surprised face and then her genuine and gentle smile.She was looking at him full of love and happiness.This was his girl,his woman,his love and his happiness.
He had once lost her,experienced other trials and tests of life,found love again,got dissapointed,brokenhearted and then found her again.
After Gael had his fun in taking Isabels pictures,he then put down the camera and put down his backpack.
"Should we camp here?"
"Gael."
"Hm?"
"Can I take a few pictures for you?"
Gael was surprised and confused.
"Why?"
"You know,to make memories."
"We've got yours."
"But you're also here.Come,give me the camera now." Isabel reached out her hands.
Gael was really touched.No one had actually offered to take his photos before.
He had always automatically been the photographer and that's why his pics were somwhat rare,even in important moments like this.Selfies together were a thing,but individual pics weren't.
"Okay then,.Take this,but be carefull with it." that was he precious camera and based on his almost two decades experience,Isabel could sometimes be a huge clutz.
"Okay,okay.You go over there and I'll be here."
Gael went on the other side and was a bit nervous,so he at first appeared stiff.Isabel took a few and then complained.
"This won't do!Be natural,why are you standing there like you're taking passport shots!"
Gael then tried posing a bit and looking at Isabel who clumsily sometimes crouched and moved for a better angle while saying "Ok,that's good!""Like that!Keep that!",he couldn't help but laugh at her amateurness.
*Click**click* Gaels amused and happy expression was captured.Isabel was really saisfied.
After a while Gael grinning from happiness and finally wanted to stop,hence for her to rest.
"Okay,okay that's enough!"
"Please,check my work!I can guarantee that I've made you proud."
"We'll see about that." Gael looked at his pictures one by one.
"So?How are they?Am I good or what?Have I used your tips well?"
"Hm,could be better,but anyways passable."
"I haven't been trained like you and have no experience." Isabel was dissatisfed that he didn't compliment her.
"Fine,you're pretty good for an amateur."
"I'll take it,since it's coming from you."
Soon the sky got dark and they were lying on a blanket stargazing.
"I thought only the day view was beautiful,but the night view is also breathtaking.Look at how many stars we can see!"
"Mmm."
Both of them were admiring the enchanting night sky.Suddenly Gael called out.
"Isa."
"What is it?"
"I love you!"
Isabel grinned from ear to ear. "I love you too!"
"Isa."
"What?"
"Turn to me a bit."
"Okay." Isabel turned and looked at him.Her emerald eyes were shining more brightly then the stars making Gael even more mesmerised with her.
"Why are you so quiet now?" Isabel asked.She could see the golden eyes looking at her gently full of awe and love.
Gael got closer and landed at kiss on her plump red lips.Isabel returned the kiss and when the two lips parted they giggled at eachother.
Their fingers were intertwined as they happily talked about the beatiful future that was waiting for them.
There would definitely be hardship and tests,but as long as they were geniune and held eachothers hand they would strongly face it together.
After all this isn't the end,it was just their beginning.
