At the park nearby Gael was sitting on the bench staring at the woman infront of him.She wasn't as glamarous as usual,wearing a hoodie and a pair of sweats,her chesnut colored hair in a messy bun and her white face bare without any make up.She kept hesistating and the bad feeling in his heart kept getting bigger and bigger.
"First let's both take a deep breath."
"Just say it already."Gael was impatient.
Isabel looked at his golden eyes,while her green ones got mistier and with a chocking voice said "Gael….James,he,he" she gathered her courage and said "He has been cheating on me."
Gael stood up and angrily yelled"He actually dares!That dog actually dares to do this to you!After everything you've done for him!Oh,he's so dead!Wait until I tell Hannah this!Don't worry you're not alone!We'll both get him and-"
Isabel held his shoulder trying to get him to sit down,the mention of Hannah ticked her of and she emotionally yelled "It was with Hannah!"
Gael stopped.Looking at her stunned for a while and suddenly his tone changed.
"Isa,Hannah is not that kind of person.She would never do this,I now her and we have been through a lot together.She would never…" watching Isabels face gettingsadder and her tears sliding down her cheeks he knew she wasn't lying.
"No way!No!She can't!She-she wouldn't!"he weakly denied and then got angry "No!I don't believe you!I know my wife!I trust my wife!"
"I was there when it was happening!" suddenly Isabel yelled at him angry,finally venting out the emotions she had been holding for the past few days."They were having 'the time of their lives' and telling one other how much they loved they loved each other.They kept repeating 'I love you','I love you','I love you' while doing those ugly things in my house!On MY bed!"her voice cracking then she took out her phone,after typing and sliding threw it to him while coldly saying "Here's the proof of your dear loyal wife and my dear respectful husband on top of her.Or are you gonna say they're practising wrestling,because you don't wanna believe."Gael looked a the photos immediately reckognizing the woman in them,his face getting uglier and uglier with each picture and video.
After leaving him like that for a while Isabel finally broke the silence.Her face expresionless and her voice emotionless.
"I value you as a friend so I thought you deserved to know and wanted to personally tell you.I'm not planning to let them go so easily.If you want to help you're more than welcome,but never think of standing on my way.So will you help me make them pay or not?"
Gael looked down at the tiles,his face still in disbelief.Isabel gave him a few minutes to answer,finally Gael spoke with a hoarse voice. "I'll think about it."
"I know it will be hard for you but please try to not confront her for a while.I know this is selfish,but please try to keep it in."the only thing that greeted her was silence,but she didn't mind.She sat next to him and silently kept Gael company.She wasn't good with comforting words,plus she wasn't in the mood to comfort anyone,after all she was also miserable.
The sky had already darkened,but the two people were still on that bench silently staring at the lake infront of them.Suddenly Gael spoke.
"I'll do it."
"Huh?"
"I also want to make them pay."his golden eyes seemed like they were glowing in the dark,like a wolf waiting to pounce on his opponent.
"You live up to your family name."Isabels lips slightly hooked up.
Gael then sneered "Us Laurier can't compare to the Ricci on this aspect."
"True." Isabel slightly laughed.After staring at the lake for a bit again,she suddenly stood up and patted him on the shoulder."Stand up let's go."
Gael raised his head and lookes at her questioningly.
"I can't leave you alone like this.Let's go to a bar and forget that trash couple for awhile."
"I'm not in the mood."
"If we're not in the mood now,when will we be?Let's go."
Gael stood up and dejectedly followed her.
