Chapter 55 - another quest?

If we determined the winner of the bet to be the one who chose the last man standing, then I didn't win it. If, however, we determined it based on the last human standing, then I won the bet.

"Nah, I don't think so, Joe," Alan commented.

"Then who wins?"

"Ranga, obviously."

"That thing doesn't even use any formations!" I protested.

"Well, if you don't like it, wanna use the betting rule?"

The betting rule was an inside joke between me and Alan. It was a rule that would be applicable when both of us were betting something with the criteria of the bet itself left vague. Such a situation usually occurred when we were in a high-strung environment. After we gathered our wits, the bet's settlement process started. The rule went like this; when any bets with vague criteria between both parties were to be settled, every possible interpretation of the bet would be listed, and the one who won the most interpretation would be crowned as the winner.
