'No. No. No. No. What am I going to do? I mean of course I'm gonna have this baby. I don't believe in abortions and lowkey I wouldn't mind having a mini me. I'm sure Roland loves me and will love this baby. We'll probably get married and the family thing. I just feel like I'm doing this so young but at least I'm grown.'
Summer sent Roland a picture of the positive pregnancy test. She could hope he'll be happy about this baby. Ava knocked on the door as Summer waited on Roland's reply.
"F*CK!"
"Roland baby, is everything okay?" Roland's wife, Nova asked.
"Oh yeah baby. My bad. I didn't mean to scare you. Just one of my clients did something stupid. I have to go check on it."
"Oh ok. We'll handle your business."
"Babe, you're the best. I'll see you when I get back. Love you."
"Love you too."
Roland was sh*tying on the inside. He knew he had to see Summer in person. He knew had no clue how he was gonna get himself out of this pickle. But he knew he had to come up with something quick.
"Summer, everything is gonna be ok."
"How Ava? My soon to be baby daddy hasn't replied and I just got dumped on TMZ. Now I'm just gonna be a singing babymama. Ugh! My career is over!" Summer whined. It had been almost an hour and she hadn't heard from Roland at all. She was afraid he was gonna ghost her.
"Since Loyal put out a statement that y'all would remain friends through y'all break up. Just post a picture of the pregnancy test and be like more coparents. He won't be able to ignore you anymore."
Before she could tell Ava that Loyal isn't the father. There was a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" Ava asked.
"It's me, Roland."
"Come in, I thought you were staying back for office work." Summer replied.
"Oh yeah. I just came to check on you and make sure you were ok with your break up and all."
"It's just a lot. Plus I found out I'm pregnant."
"Are you gonna keep it?"
"Yeah."
Roland just nodded.
"Do you think that will mess up everything, Roland?"
"No, I'm sure we can make a plan to make it work."
Ava just sat there as Roland and Summer talked. She felt awkward like she was the third wheel. But maybe she was just reading into things.
"You know doing that post Ava mentioned would be good and give you some more publicity for your album and tour."
"Okay. I'll do it. But when should I post it?"
"Post it right before your next show on Friday and I bet the rest of your shows that weekend will sellout."
"That's Brilliant! I know you don't plan on staying or traveling with us, so let me walk you out." Summer replied with a smile.
"Okay, cool. See you later Ava"
"See yah."
'I guess that's why they pay him the big bucks. Because to wait to post right before Summer's show on Friday is crazy. I know it's gonna go viral. I guess I was just reading into things earlier. He's just a good manager. I almost thought he was her baby's father.' Ava thought to herself.
"Baby sorry I scared you. I just thought I should see you in person. You know I love you and our baby." Though he hated to be that guy. Lowkey, he was a coward. He planned to pass this baby as Loyal's for as long as he could and keep Summer as his little secret.
"Yeah. I just didn't know you cared that much." Summer replied as hugged Roland. Roland kissed her on the head and replied, "How could I not?"
