Melanie coughed and hacked, feeling the hot metallic taste of blood permeating her mouth before it spilled out like a crimson waterfall, staining her lips and chin with its warmth.
She slowly toppled over, ready to fall into the greenery below her feet.
"Melanie! How dare you, you bitch! I'll freaking murder you!" Keith rushed at the brunette with an angry roar.
"What the fuck are you doing, Keith! Stand back!" Desmond roared.
"Can't you see what that vile bitch did to Melanie? She deserves to die! I'll slaughter her!" Keith's face contorted into a mask of seething fury.
"You'd better cool off, moron. She's not dead yet. We'll exact our revenge later, but right now, this isn't something we can handle. I'm ordering a retreat." Desmond clenched his hand tightly on Keith's shoulder and rumbled menacingly while Harris moved quickly to haul the bloodied Melanie away.
