Chapter 1 - Ateneo Angelo

My names Ateneo Angelo, 26 years old and currently I am in a shoot out in the middle of streets of Manila, Philippines. I've been living here for 6 years and spent the 20 years in Toronto, Canada.

*Continuously Gun Fires*

As to why I'm in a middle of a shootout well apparently they hated me here so I might have to move soon as I've been in multiple shootouts in the past days and everyday they are getting close to what they want.

Of course I'm not alone in the shootouts as I'm always with my gang members or family as I treat them as family.

…..

Private Hospital after the shootout

"Angelo, I think we should go move to another place permanently.—" Matthew said, but I interpreted him before he could finish.

"I've been thinking about it too my dear friend, I do not want another of my family gone don't I? My brother been missing for a year now and the last info we have on him was he was last seen in Los Santos, USA." I said while I tried to hold my composure seeing my trusted right man laying in hospital bed resting and thinking what happened to my brother is he gone or dead.

"Me and the other well be staying in China with our friends Triad for a while to lay low. As for you my brother go look for your brother as we don't leave behind our own family." Matthew said as he dabbed me up and hugged each other.

"Just come to me when you guys are ready, I will probably need you guys." I said.

I spent hours giving farewells to my gang members they we're family to me, as a family we created so much good and bad memories that I'll probably never forget.

Of course I value my own family first, but the one left is me and my brother. Though now my brother is missing. My father was assassinated same with my mother when we were living in Toronto.

After a few hours I then went to the gangs crib top of a hills and quickly packed my things, guns, money, clothes and jewelry.

"I'll be there in a few minutes." I said through a phone call before ending it.

I then drove my car to the port and went to my private yacht.

"Angelo, are you sure going alone is a good idea? The 1/3 of the gang wanted to come." Vert said my other hand.

"No, I do not want eyes to me. 200 of shooters are not necessary, I want a low profile." I then passed a phone to Vert. "Call me when we have a problem here and I'll call you when I need you," I added.

"I understand, we'll be waiting in Hawaii. While Matthew, Sky, and X we'll be laying low in Triad and Yakuza." Vert said.

...…..

Next day

It's the next day and we've just arrived in Port of South Los Santos. The security was easy to bypass as its seems like this city is more corrupt than corruption itself.

I gave my farewell to Vert and the other 50 family members.

Stepping out of the yacht I can see the city's skyline clearly and it was a beautiful skyline compared to some cities that I've visited during my gang expansions.

Walking out of the port with a luggage in my left hand while my other hand was free. It was a busy I can tell from the port and the nearby airport.

Standing at the sidewalk I was waiting for a taxi to come by, though I expected a taxi a Honda Civic tinted window and blacked out paint pulled over.

"Yooo, you new in town?" The guy from the car asked after rolling down the right window to talked to me. He has young features, his hair just freely on their own curly.

"What's good man, ye new in town." I said.

"Oh you have a ride gang?" He asked.

"Just waiting for a taxi," I said.

"Ohh fuck that Imma give you a ride around the city," He said.

"Bet," I said while I put my luggage in the trunk and then went to the passenger seat in front.

"Name's Demar Jenkins the 5th from Detroit. How bout u gang?" Demar asked while we exited the airport and entered the high way.

"Ateneo Angelo, grew up in Toronto." I said while I looked at the road. "How you've been in the city tho gang?" I added.

"Toronto I've been their once with my mom. Ahh I've been on the city for over a month now, you know just trying anything to make a living." Demar said.

"I heard gangs all over the city, city must be very dangerous then no?" I said.

"Nah, I mean it's dangerous if you don't got someone, for example like me. I'm all alone and I don't even know how I survived two shootouts." Demar said while showing his wound in his forearm.

...

Me and Demar talked for awhile while driving around the city and he talked about some experiences that he had in the city for the past month.

Demar was quite the funny guy made me laugh three times which is very rare for someone to make me laugh. While he shared some of his past growing up and just his life I listened and ask some questions. Though I didn't really opened up to him as it's the first time meeting him.

He live in the hood south of the city near the port and airport so after looking and driving around inside of the city we went back to his house. He invited me to crash out to his house as I mentioned that I got none to sleep this night.

After dropping off my luggage in Demar's house, we went to the mall where he mentioned that it's where he makes his money.

We pulled up with his car and parked in the parking lot where people are standing outside of their V's and some are going to the mall.

"Watch this," Demar said after we both stepped out of his car and went to a group of people. He then begun talking to the them while I stayed behind just listening and observing the place.

After a few minutes Demar handed some bottles of water from his bag and a pills.

"What kind?" I asked.

"LSD, it's been booming lately." Demar said. "200 a pop," he added.

"Well I don't want any part of that," I said.

We both then continued to walk towards the entrance of the mall though we were interrupted.

"Waterboy, you got any left?!" A man shouted across the big pillars. We both stopped and waited for him to get closer.

"Didn't know your name's Waterboy," I said while stopping my laughter.

"I got 5 left gang," Demar said.

"Look the— Who's this gang?" The guy asked looking at me.

"Oh his new in the city, his name Ateneo Angelo." Demar said.

The guy dabbed me up which I accepted.

"By the way, This we'll be my last time I'm going to buy LSD. Me and Chance are going to Cartel as pickers they offering heavy money." The guy said.

"Cartel? They been booming lately too, shii why don't I and Angelo come with you two?" Demar asked while handing out water bottle and the LSD to the guy.

"My name's Miami nice to meet you." Miami said putting the LSD to his pockets and giving money to Demar. "I'll text you tomorrow," He added while walking out.

"You have a phone gang?" Demar asked.

"Oh I forgot to bring one," I said.

"Imma get you since we're already here." Demar said as we both entered the mall.

We went to the Apple Store to buy a phone and then went around the mall looking for a food place.

We entered a food spot and ordered some pizza. Seated outside of the restaurant and eating the pizza while talking to each other.

"Hold up, imma go rizz up this young lady over there." Demar said after standing up and walking towards the lady.

Watching from distance I could guess it was going well, which I was right. After a few minutes he went back and smiling to his bones.

"What's her name?" I asked while grabbing a bit out of the pizza.

"Pink," Demar said after seating down.

"She a hoe," I said while chuckling and shaking my head.

"Shut the fuck up, that ain't a hoe name. It's actually a cute name." Demar said trying to defend her while I just burst into laughter.

After calming down and finishing the pizza we went to go look for a clothing store to pick up some new clothes.

"You got any hoes?" Demar asked.

"Hmm… why do you think I'm here with you?" I said. "Ye no I got none." I added while he started laughing at me.

We both picked up a new fit and then went back to the parking lot where we then watched the car show.
