The trio was weirded out; a monster has a system.
"This dungeon is so weird; man, let's just leave."
"Yeah, Trion. It may all be an illusion."
"We need the money, guys. You know it's either do or die."
'Well….I might have to kill them,' Kyle thought, feeling sad.
"Get ready!" Trion said and dashed towards Kyle again. His sword now had a glow on it.
"Woah! Sword aura!" Kyle didn't dare to attack Trion's sword with his. He knew his sword would break.
SWISH!
Trion did a vertical slash that Kyle evaded easily. He was too a professional and experienced swordsman.
PEW!
CRACK!
Kyle looked down and saw an arrow deep in his bones, one of the ribs had broken, and the arrow was stuck in the ribcage, unmoving.
"You're annoying," Kyle said in a threatening tone. The rib would take a lot of time to heal, while his left arm was not even close to being of any use yet.
"Dumbasses! Attack!"
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!
The trio looked towards the staircase that led to the upper floor. The sound of loud and many footsteps was resounding.
Under their wary gazes, three normal skeletons and two giants came down wielding weapons.
The archer became pale; who would divert their attention if the leader was fighting a higher-level boss?
"Attack," Kyle said in a cold voice. Both the giants went to the leader while the trio of the normal skeletons went with agility towards the range attackers.
"FUCK!" The archer grimaced while holding a small dagger; he thought that the level 1 normal skeletons would die in a second by him, but…..they were experienced fighters! One of the skeletons just evaded his attack like it was nothing and hit his shoulder with one of the daggers in its hand. It was obviously Skeleton 1 with both Hand combat proficiency and dagger at a high level.
The other two skeletons went to the healer of their group; she became pale looking at them approaching and sent a ball of white light towards one of them.
The skeleton had no sense of fear; they would fight a 100 feet tall monster if told without any fear. But the white orb in front of it was different. It was like its whole existence would fade due to the white ball.
The skeleton jumped in the air evading the attack successfully. The healer had used her most vigorous attack that had done zero damage. She had accepted her death after the attack failed.
The other skeleton used its daggers and pierced them inside the healer's gut. Her frail body got covered in blood, Kyle saw that, and his non-existent heart ached.
"Leave her….attack the other one."
The skeleton stopped before the other attack hit her. Both of them ignored the girl on the ground wincing in pain, and went to the archer, who was already near death.
Trion, on the other hand, was doing well. He would have defeated one of them, but after looking at the huffing girl with blood flowing out of her gut, he panicked, and his sword skills became lousy due to less concentration.
Kyle had totally ignored the two-man in front of him and looked toward the girl.
'I may be called a hypocrite, killing both of them while sparing her. But…..she's just too young. I may have become a monster from the outside, but….It is her choice whether she survives or not.'
He reverted back to Trion, who had one sword in his chest while the other in the gut. He went towards him and looked into his eyes. The shine in his eyes was trying to vanish, but he was trying, trying very hard to survive.
"I told you….you had a choice to go; it was a risk for me if the others get to know about me, but then also I gave you a choice." The voice, which had a tinge of sadness at first, was now filled with anger. He was going to chop Trion's head, but his dumbasses needed the EXP.
Trion didn't even have the time to regret his choice. Instead, his life faded within seconds due to internal bleeding and severe blood loss.
Kyle looked at the archer, that was dead on the ground; the skeletons kept looking at Kyle indifferently, waiting for their next order, indeed, a perfect slave race.
On the other hand, the girl was using the little mana she had to heal herself. So Kyle left her there, waiting for her to heal and go on her own.

Kyle looked at the notification with sparkling eyes. He opened the dungeon prompt and saw the changes.

'Fuck, the mana increased again! So good!' he closed the prompt, hoping to see the changes more thoroughly later.
He ordered the skeletons to move the two corpses to the 4th floor and train again.
The ground on the 4th floor was changing quickly. Kyle placed the two corpses in the corner; he had no use of them for now.
With this, the training started again. Kyle was waiting to raid another dungeon when his left arm grew back.
A day went by without any problem; the skeletons were getting stronger and more experienced with every fight.
The normal skeletons were at level 2, including Giant 2. Kyle was very satisfied with such growth. His skeletons could kill creatures with better levels than them.
"But what do I do about those weaklings that die within seconds?" He used surveillance again and saw that the skeletons were just idling.
But on the 1st floor, where the level 1 normal skeletons were still dead, he saw the girl just sitting in a corner all healed already.
"What the actual fuck?"
