Chapter 2 - Trait! Isn't This Ridiculous?

[Welcome host, as the new master, the system will reward you with a newbie gift box. Please check.]

Klay became shocked after reading the words written on the screen in front of him.

"Master? Me? What!?"

"Am I dreaming?"

A look of confusion could be literally seen on Klay's face.

A moment later, Klay cried out of pain after pinching himself.

"This is all real?"

This...

Klay was lost for words at the moment. He couldn't comprehend what was happening.

"There should be something or someone to explain to me what the heck is going on!"

Klay stood still on the ground. Facing the screen panel that was hovering in the air after he fell into deep thought.

After a couple of minutes.

Klay finally gets a hold of himself.

"Right, the crystals!" Klay immediately tensed up as he turned his head and looked intently at the crystals that were stuck on the walls.

"The crystals on the walls were the first to doubt my suspicions."

The shaped crystal object in front of him was so familiar to Klay.

Klay was also an enthusiast of role-playing games (RPGs). Back on earth, there was once an RPG game with a dungeon theme that became well known and became a popular trend among teens. Klay himself also didn't want to be left behind by his peers, as he also started playing right after he downloaded the game.

On that day, the thirst for dungeon bosses, survival, and killing mobs for exp made Klay a fan of RPG games as well as dungeons.

"For what I know, the crystals were the primary source of a dungeon. It could be used on a piece of equipment for upgrades, boost a character's strength, or even be used as currency. It had many uses depending on what a user needed."

Those things are only simple uses of the crystals based on Klay's general knowledge of the game.

However, Klay also couldn't be sure if the thing in front of him was a treasure or just a plain shiny crystal, as there wasn't enough information regarding it.

Observing it carefully.

"The crystals here and the one back in the game indeed have slight similarities in them."

The crystals were a mix of light neon blue that seemingly acted like a lantern for the cavern and were scattered evenly around the area.

Thanks for this, it made it possible for Klay to moderately see the outline of the area.

"If my hunch is right, I'm in a dungeon or something similar, right?"

With the robotic system's voice he just heard before, the translucent panel, and the appearance of the crystals. All of these factors led Klay to believe that he must have been magically transported by who-knows how inside one of the dungeon games he had previously played back on earth. However, there's no telling on which dungeon game it is, as he played several dungeon games before.

"Thankfully, there are no monsters roaming around."

Klay breathed a sigh of relief.

"If this is something like a game, there should be a help function or guide, right? In any case, let's try it out." Klay mumbled to himself.

Then, let me check...

Without further ado, Klay spoke to the system.

"System, where is this place?"

Klay's first question was only to probe the system to see if it could respond to him.

Klay didn't wait for too long as he heard the system reply him back.

[Currently, the system does not have a response for the host to that question.

Please try again a moment later.]

"..."

Why does it sound like a voicemail mobile operator...

"It is fine, at least the system is cooperating with me."

Klay consolidated himself.

Without beating any bush, he immediately asked again.

"Is there any info or status of myself?"

This second time, as if answering Klay's question, the screen in front of him suddenly changed. Revealing a new set of information.

______________

[Host Name: Klay]

[Experience Points: 0/100]

[Abilities & Skills: 0]

[Dungeon Points: 0]

...

.

[Newbie Gift Box.](unclaimed)

______________

"!!"

Klay was slightly taken aback by the sudden appearance.

After properly reading the content, Klay began to knit his eyebrows.

Below the name on his status was a word written over clearly [Trait: Dungeon Creator].

This made Klay confused.

As if sensing the questioning gaze of Klay by the system, another new piece of information appeared in front of him.

[Trait: Dungeon Creator]

(Grade: Unknown)

(Details: The host is able to create a simplified version of a dungeon from scratch and have (100%) management rights over the dungeon. Any kind of magical beast, undead type, or monster can be nurtured inside the dungeon with the acknowledgement of the host.)

(Features: Mob Shop(Locked), Manage Dungeon(Locked), and

Spawn Point(Locked))

(Hint: Monsters and magical beasts can be acquired in the Mob Shop)

(Hint: The host first needs to establish a connection to a dungeon core to unlock the said features.)

After reading all the details, a shocked expression could be seen on Klay's face.

Based on it, with the correct materials, Klay could build a dungeon at any time and from any location. He would even have absolute control over the dungeon and could do anything as long as he was around.

The fact that he could raise a group of mobs as long as he chose it is even more absurd.

What does this mean?

Klay could choose to amass and wait till it grows stronger, and by then he would have a legion of terrific monsters by his side!

Endless possibilities could be formed from here, and there's no saying he wasn't limited to just one dungeon.

GASP!

Isn't this trait of mine ridiculous?

It's too terrifying to think about it.
