When the name "Vongola Primo" was mentioned Blueno could feel chill down his spine. In this world, there were only a few people who could invoke fear just from hearing their name. Among them were the three most renowned: Vongola Primo, Whitebeard, and Red-Haired Shanks.
Those three individuals were considered monsters capable of destroying the world with their immense power. It wasn't just their individual strength but also the massive military might they led.
Let alone CP9, even the Marines Headquarters and the World Government treated these figures with caution, knowing that a direct confrontation with any of them could lead to dire consequences.
Among them all, Vongola Primo was known as the strongest. Over the past decade, he had taken Beast Pirates, Flying Pirates, and the Big Mom Pirates, and he even managed to defeat the Whitebeard Pirates. There were also mysterious connections between him and Red-Haired Shanks.
If CP0 and Marine Headquarters couldn't deal with him, there was no way CP9 could!
Blueno was conflicted whether he should report this to his superior. However, he was more concerned with personal gain than the well-being of the agents under his command. He even feared that their superior might order them to assassinate Vongola Primo, a mission with no possibility of success.
"Understood. I'll report this immediately. Be cautious, and do not expose yourselves. That man is far more terrifying than Lucci. If we fight him here, we'll be wiped out!" Blueno acknowledged the severity of the situation.
Bruno is well aware of the gap in their strength. In his opinion, Lucci was really strong, but Vongola Primo was simply a monster!
"I understand. Let's hope our incompetent superior won't give any troublesome orders."
After regaining her composure, Kalifa slowly stood up and said, "I have to leave. If I'm away for too long, it might raise unnecessary suspicions."
She then left using Bruno's Door-Door Fruit ability. It really was a very convenient ability. It might provide even more awesome powers if it were honed further, but for now, Bruno couldn't reach that level yet.
Galley-La Company, Iceburg's office.
"Thank you, Primo-san. It seems they should leave me alone for a while."
Iceburg nearly laughed when he recalled how frightened the World Government officials who had just left.
It had been a long time since he had seen the World Government officials looking so defeated. Only people like Giotto could frighten those typically arrogant officials.
"No need to thank me. I just happened to be around. However, I have a piece of advice for you: it would be better to destroy that thing as soon as possible. If the World Government gets their hands on it, I doubt you'll be spared. And..."
Giotto waved his hand and took out a unique Den Den Mushi and placed it in front of Iceburg, "Not everyone around you is trustworthy. The World Government will use whatever means possible to obtain that thing. So, be cautious. If you need help, you can use this device. Even though the first half of the Grand Line is the Marine's territory, it's not necessarily out of Vongola Family's reach."
"You've at least heard of Varia, right?"
If there was any Vongola Family's force in the first half of Grand Line that stood out, it'd be Varia. They were not less capable than Cipher Pol when it came to infiltration.
The Varia members dispatched to Grand Line and Paradise generally possessed considerable strength. While those in the Paradise were slightly weaker, the ones assigned to the Grand Line were the true elite, and each of them had Dying Will Pill in their possession.
"Vongola Family's independent assassination unit?"
After putting away the Den Den Mushi, Iceburg spoke in a serious tone, "If the need arises, I will seek their help. Once again, thank you for your assistance, Primo-san."
He was well aware that Giotto had helped him out mostly because Tom was Iceburg's teacher as they weren't that close.
However, there was one thing that puzzled him. Giotto knew about "it", so why did he show no interest in it whatsoever? If that thing was successfully created, it would pose a threat to the World Government's power.
"Vongola Family isn't interested in that thing's power. Besides, Vongola Family is much stronger than you think, Iceburg," Aria stated, seeing through Iceburg's thoughts with a single glance.
The power that Vongola Family possessed was beyond the understanding of ordinary people.
"All right, Iceburg. Your secretary is here. After taking us to Tom's grave tomorrow morning, you can rest easy and focus on your job."
Giotto and Aria then pushed open the door and left.
The moment they left, Kalifa happened to enter. When she saw that the two of them didn't pay any attention to her and left immediately, relief washed over her. Not having to confront Vongola Primo was excellent news for her. That overwhelming pressure was something she truly didn't want to experience again.
