Flash back.
Seven months ago, In the Organization.
"Please come in." Leonardo, the leader of the organization, answered, as he lit another cigar. "Here comes the assassin Greg supposes would surpass me." Leonardo thought as a smirk carved on his face. He sipped a little of his liquor and offered Andrew a seat.
Then he picked up a telephone, called his assistant and said "Bring me one more cup."
"I'm just like every agent in this organization, no need for special treatment." Andrew knew all Leonardo had to offer him was hypocrisy.
This was what he had always hated about humans.
It wasn't respect or love, it was fear and hypocrisy. Humans are hypocrites.
Just because of how deadly and powerful he is, they tend to treat him exceptionally.
"I came here to sign all the necessary documents." He added.
"Greg must be really desperate." Leonardo said as he puffed out smoke from his nose.
Andrew, who understood Leo's point, just kept silent, but why would he say it now?
He was curious to know what the Devil's farm is about.
Yeah, he heard it was the most blessed town with natural resources, more abundant than anyone can imagine and he also heard they had lots of thugs and monster eating creatures.
But, since he was and had even lived up to the man monster himself, why would Leonardo make that terrible statement?
"What do you mean?" He asked Leonardo.
"Don't tell me your lack of emotions, already affected your ability to judge." Leo answered, which peeved Andrew.
Leonardo who could sense Andrew was already infuriated said;
"We lost two skilled assassins in this mission." There was zero gesture of concern on Andrew's face.
He took a heavy sigh, and added;
"Your father recommended you go, just when I suggested to go." He took a sip of alcohol.
"And who are the skilled assassins we lost?" Andrew asked after a long silence.
"Titus 124 ...." Leonardo answered and sipped a little drink.
"And?" Andrew asked.
He mentioned the second person, and for the first time there was a shocked expression on Andrew's face.
"Austin 009."
It was with no doubt, he knew Austin had died already, but to think he was killed by some thugs in Devil's farm made him wonder how tough that place could be.
Austin Katz was a very strong assassin in the Silent organization. He possessed both magical and physical strength. If archmages were assassins, his strength could be compared to theirs.
Yeah, that strong.
Andrew wondered what kind of hooligans lived in the Devil's farm, no foreigner alive had ever been there, the bold ones who dared step in there, never lived to narrate how it.
#present time.
"Just 20 more preys would make the 1000th." He said to himself, while he tried to find the nearest border.
Devil's farm was more perplexing and wider than he expected. From outside, it was mentioned it was a small town full of hoodlums in the country of cubaori. Getting there, he realized all the news he heard about the devil's farm were false.
Though no intruder who ever came into the Devil's farm, made it alive. And anyone who did, died as soon as he got to his home place without getting a chance to talk.
Not even Grandpa Austin, who was considered a top assassin.
"It seems father's wishes are already in reality." Andrew tried to convince himself.
It still felt weird that Austin could be killed by such petty thugs. Although, he met one of the supposed monster eating creatures, but he wasn't so tough.
He took the path a terrified villager had described to him, and just then he realized it was a deadly trick.
Because, right before him was a C-Ranked Dragon. And it was let loose, which means they were informed about his arrival.
A little smile carved on his face as he said "I wanted people not a lowly beast." Almost immediately he finished his sentence, his smile went off, he brought out his sword like weapon and activated it.
He needed enough distraction and time to create an attack enough to kill it in record time. But it wouldn't be that easy, because unlike a D-Ranked Dragon, a C-Ranked Dragon can breathe out blue and red flames with different attributes depending on the dragon, which are toxic to the human skin.
That's where his sword comes in, it's ability to remodel into a shield form is a great advantage. His left hand was for creating the [HELL'S PULL], and his right hand was for protection and minute attacks.
He was successful in dodging the dragon's breath attack as he was slowly congregating his mana to activate a grade B attack, [HELL'S PULL] behind it, and just then the force from [HELL'S PULL]was able to gorge the dragon.
"Too weak." He said while trying to understand how Austin could die in such a place or at the very least escape.
Just as he turned to confront whoever was responsible for the attack, he heard a very loud roar that shook the whole ground.
It was unbelievable, a living creature survived the [HELL'S PULL], Andrew was shocked, how could a C Ranked Dragon survive his favourite black hole move.
It had no wings, which meant it couldn't be B- Ranked, then the Dragon was C+ Ranked, yet it had the ability to both attack and defend. Something was seriously wrong.
"Could this be related to what killed Austin?" Andrew thought to himself, as he gasped for air.
Luckily for him, his sword was activated and it transformed into a broad shield.
He thought he could end the combat timely, but he was wrong.
He behind it for two minutes, but the dragon breath didn't look like it was going to end any time soon, and it began to eat at his shield.
"It seems the devil's farm isn't as simple as it looks." He said to himself as doubt began to carve on his face.
"It seems the rumors about this place are true. Could a demon god really be buried here? And it seems there is no true power ruling over this place like the records say, no syndicate would let a powerful C-Ranked loose like this. But anywho it seems I'll have some fun for a while." a creepy smile crept up Andrew's face.
