Today, the wind in Dadu was exceedingly noisy.
But it was not gentle.
Especially at the rooftop of the thirty-ninth floor of the South Bay Building.
"It's said that from here, one can overlook the entire Dadu District..."
A skinny man dressed in a long black coat was sitting on the edge of the roof of the South Bay Building, his hands bracing against the ground. At this height, the piercing wind scraped against the hem of his coat like a blade, causing the coat to sway back and forth.
"Pure nonsense."
A calm yet disdainful response came from behind him.
The flowing wind swept across the rooftop of the building, forming a faint vortex near the ground.
The speaker, with arms crossed, wore a black coat nearly identical to the previous man's, but he appeared quite comical. The long coat's hem piled on the ground, and when a corner was lifted by the wind...it was evident that his feet weren't touching the ground at all but were suspended above the roof of the building.
