The trio belatedly looked in the direction where the Paper Egret had been fluttering above, only to see that the mutants that had occupied that area were now downed, creating a rather narrow pathway.
As for the sides of the pathway... there were still dense crowds of mutants, but they seemed to have lost all desire to attack.
