The two Resonance Towers were supposed to restart after a brief downpour, establishing a separate connection around Tower One while the Spellsingers continued to maintain the clouds and then quickly launch the next spell, but unexpectedly Tower Three malfunctioned at this critical moment. Despite the ten-odd layers of the simple Demon Gathering Array still working steadily, the crucial Magic Adjustor was damaged.
Luckily, Bellia, who was responsible for calibrating Tower Three, hadn't yet forced herself into 'overload' when she received a spare adjustor thrown up to her by her mentor from below the tower. Although her long golden hair, now in big waves, was beyond saving, she managed to resonate with Tower Two again without paying too high a price.
