Cordova hadn't known the boy for very long, so if any of those from Fair City who had lived with the little wolf day and night for over a decade saw him now, they would be 100% convinced that the child must have been shocked by something or accidentally ate something odd.
However, since Fair City was wiped out with the exception of the little wolf, no one besides himself would understand how much the boy had changed, nor would they know why he had made such a change...
Except for himself.
"Kid, how many times do I have to tell you, call me Big Brother Cordova! Big Brother! Not 'uncle'!"
Cordova glared at the boy in front of him who was shorter than his chest even with ears added, and said through gritted teeth, "I'm only a few years older than you!"
The little wolf curled his lip, casually took out a nondescript black stone, and began sharpening his blade with it: "Looking like an uncle counts as an uncle, and what's the benefit of calling you 'big brother' anyway?"
