As soon as Motan and Yu Chen stepped out of the city gates, they heard a buzzing crowd, sporadically mixed with curses and cries of pain. For a moment, Motan thought he had ended up at the morning market he usually frequented.
Yu Chen timidly shrunk his neck and whispered to Motan, "It seems that everyone's condition is not too bad."
