Accompanied by cheers, Bishop Mof of Pato City's Holy Religious Alliance strode to the temporarily built altar, raising high the monster's skull that Dave had brought back. He smiled and said, "Praise be to the gods!"
After a brief silence, cheers erupted from all directions. People were thrilled; after all, the rumors of a murderous monster lurking outside the city had terrified them for a while. And now, one of the monsters who had cruelly killed four young students was reduced to a head, held high in the hand of the respected Bishop!
This was undoubtedly a great inspiration to the townsfolk.
Especially since Dave had personally confirmed that there were no other threats outside the city besides the two Redback beasts that had already been decapitated--this was the best news possible!
