Motan had noticed that the other person had suddenly fallen into an inexplicable silence, but after pondering for a while, he chuckled sarcastically, "Heh heh, don't tell me you're upset, unhappy, and unbalanced just because I said I didn't have time to deal with you."
"Yes, you're absolutely right."
Double Leaf snickered, glancing sideways at Motan and sighed dramatically, "And you haven't knelt down to lick my shoes clean yet, to properly console my injured little heart."
This level of retort was completely a conditioned reflex, as Double Leaf hadn't yet realized what the other had said before she subconsciously counter-mocked. She and Motan had long since developed this good habit of firing back before thinking, otherwise, in many situations, they would have been continuously harassed by the other's trash talk and provoked to the point of want to demolish the house.
