Kassy and Leven sat under the eaves of the main house, both wearing a touch of unease on their faces. Although they didn't know why they were uneasy, these top members of the Fire Claw squad felt inexplicably uneasy.
If a reason had to be given, it might be because the orange-haired girl who has become the backbone of everyone has been standing in the courtyard with a frown for almost two hours...
She did not greet others with ironic remarks, she did not recklessly go to the Magician's Guild to distract herself, nor did she use the whimsical excuse like 'go buy me half a jin of Fire Element Fruit from the third stall on the left of the main road in the old city and peel them for me' ordering others to run errands. This didn't resemble Double Leaf at all!!
Perhaps this was why Kassy and Leven were a little worried.
