A sizable group slowly moved along the dirt road. Around one hundred people comprised the group with ages ranging from eight to eighty. Both genders and all ages were present, and the majority were plagued by the epidemic.
Rightly so, this was a group of refugees commonly found throughout these lands...
However, compared to most refugees who lacked clothing and food, these people were relatively lucky. They had sufficient tents for shelter against wind and rain, and the beasts of burden carried a substantial amount of food. These supplies ensured they wouldn't fall victim to hunger or cold before they succumbed to their illness.
