These two combat traits made Cordova incredibly resilient. Add to this his whopping 60-point physique attribute, along with the Rune's intrinsic ability to resist attacks, and it made the old chap quite formidable.
Yet technically speaking, he was not wrong. At this stage of the game, it was virtually impossible for him to encounter a stronger player. After all, the character of Cordova was designed to dominate the early stages of the game. Despite being unable to level up, learn skills, or equip gear, he remained genuinely powerful.
