Emerald Avenue, Tula Residence
The unceasing stream of carriages and vehicles of all sorts almost entirely blocked the area, a rare occurrence in ordinary times. However, tonight was an exception. After all, His Majesty William Boh did not often hold banquets. Once the news spread, virtually all the nobles in the capital poured out of their homes. Moreover, those wealthy merchants and tycoons who were privileged enough to be invited arrived early, after having dinner in advance. After all, they did not wish to waste time on what they considered mundane matters, such as dining at the banquet.
No one would ever be late to King William's banquet, but there was indeed an art to deciding how early to arrive. The merchants would be the earliest, as no noble would willingly yield the road on the not-so-spacious avenue.
