She even noticed that the Big Mosquito seemed to be vaguely centering its range of battle around her. She held the key to all of its desires to return to Earth, so even if Earth City were to vanish completely at the moment, Daphne could not possibly die!
This greatly increased Daphne's chances of survival. After all, being someone who had an understanding of the Big Mosquito's existence, she had a deep knowledge of its actual battle strength.
However, she wouldn't yield!
Looking down at the surface beneath her feet, the majority of Earth City, having been swallowed by the flames of war, fueled her rage. She had devoted her efforts and the sweat of her brow to develop this city. The city that she had painstakingly built was now reduced to a sea of flames. What's worse was that several of her reserve supply buildings were now engulfed in the inferno. How could she not seethe in rage?
