Duncan temporarily paused the action of helping Alice remove the residual glue, as if he was seriously listening to a distant sound. After a moment, he lowered his head again, wiping away the few crumbs that fell on the table with a soft cloth.
Alice blinked, curiously watching the captain, "Cap, Captain, what just hap, happened?"
"Morris has received a letter from a distant friend. He is not very reassured by what the letter reveals," Duncan smiled, standing up while helping Alice clear the glue on her neck joint and said casually, "He wants me to take a look at the situation."
"Distant fri, friend?" Alice's stammering voice echoed from the navigation table, "Is, is, is there danger? Do we have to, to, to rescue someone?"
