Sherry's fighting style was, as always, straightforward.
Simplistic, brutal, and effective, with a kind of unrestrained flair — within the whistling of chains, all was equal.
The eerie figure that had leaped through the shadows seemed never to have anticipated that the girl with the Profound Demons, the "Summoner," was essentially a melee fighter — normally, the first instinct upon seeing a spellcasting class was to close the distance for hand-to-hand combat, the best choice. Yet when they closed in only to find the spellcaster whipping out a meteor hammer, that was a different story. Thus, a scene Duncan had once witnessed replayed:
The chains screeched, as Sherry slammed down her iron weight, hitting the dark figure squarely. It made a loud "bang" as if accompanied by a whistling sound, and was sent flying back!
With a thunderous crash, the figure was smashed into a nearby, smoldering building, stirring up a cloud of dust and sparks, then silence followed.
