He slowly squeezed his way next to Sherry, his adult frame securing a slightly more comfortable corner for the girl, and also leaving a gap that made it easier for them to talk. Duncan sharply noticed that Sherry's body was trembling—she was nervous, even fearful to a degree.

"What are you afraid of?" he glanced at Sherry, "I'm not going to swallow you whole."

Sherry made a sad face: "You... you would need it cooked first?"

Duncan: "..."
