After the suicide incident at the Thorns home, investigations, articles and broadcast all pin point to Damien's nanny using illegal drugs. That, the Thorn family don't know as they try to comprehend the cause of their child's nanny suicidal decision.
Despite the crowd of reporters at his home still asking questions, Robert still made it to the Embassy hoping he will get away from them and be at ease from the spotlights. Still reporters filled up at the entrance of the Embassy.
"Mr Ambassador, is it true the nanny left a suicide note?" One reporter quickly asked while Robert came out of his car. Robert still tries to shield his face with his palm from the cameras. He didnt want to answer any questions either.
"Mr Ambassador, did you know that she was on drugs?" Another reporter stretch forth his microphone for an answer.
Luckily Robert has his security guards to thank for keeping the reporters from him while he made his way to the Embassy. He still did not answer any of their questions. Until while at the entrance of double glass door a reporter threw his question.
"Mr Ambassador, the investigators says..."
"I don't care about what they have feeding you with." Robert manage to say cutting the reporter short. "As of the drugs, nothing that I know off." The security opened the double glass door to the Embassy and the Ambassador went in.
While in his office, Robert was in a meeting with two of his colleagues until his desk phone rang. Its was his secretary.
"Yes." Robert put her on speaker
"Mr Ambassador, there is a priest here to see you. His name Father Brennan." The secretary replied.
Robert tries to recall anyone by that name, "Never heard of him."
"He says he wants to see you. Something about a matter of urgent personal business. He says he just need a minute. Something about a hospital too."
"Donation time." That was one of Robert colleagues Mr John in the office.
"Alright then send him in." Robert told his secretary.
"I didn't know you were such a soft torch Robert. How about the trip to Saudi Arabia. Why isn't it the right time?" Mr John said while he made for the door.
"Oh, it personal time. I don't feel like living home right now." Robert replied with a worried smile.
Mr John open the door to leave with his companion in the office when Father Brennan came through, closing the door behind them.
"Yes Father, you wanted to see me." Robert asked while seated.
"You have no time. You have to listen to what I have to say." Father Brennan looked serious. He wasn't much of an elderly man but the hat he put on made his looks quite mysterious. His face was expressionless pushing Robert into steadying himself on his seat.
"Alright, what is it?"
"You must accept Christ as your saviour. You must accept him now."
"Forgive me Father, I was told you had a matter of urgent personal busi..."
"You must take the communion," Father Brennan cut Robert short making his voice more audible and serious. "Drink the blood of Christ and eat his flesh. Only if he is within you can you defeat the devil. He has killed once, he will kill again. He will kill until everything that is yours is his."
"Father, I think its time for you to leave." Robert thought it about time to call the security.
"Only through Christ can you fight him. Accept the Lord Jesus. Drink his blood." Robert dials his secretary on the other line. "I have locked the door Mr Thorn.
While on the other line, Robert secretary answered, "Yes, Mr Ambassador."
"Would you send the security guard please."
"Ambassador Thorn?" Robert secretary wanted to confirm if she heard her boss correctly.
"I beg you Mr Thorn, listen to what I have to say." In a more harsh and serious tone," I was at the hospital Mr Thorn. The night your son was born. I witness his birth. I beg you."
Now that gained Robert's attention. "Alright, stand by." Robert told his secretary from the other line, dropping his phone. Turning to the priest, "What do you want?"
"To save you Mr Thorn so Christ will forgive me." Father Brennan answer sent guilt through his body.
"How did you know about my son?"
"Everything. I saw his mother."
"You saw my wife." Robert authoritative voice came forward. He has had enough of this nonsense.
Unknown to this duo, both security and Robert secretary was at the door trying to force their way into the office. But the door wouldn't budge. The security guard knocks hard on the door to gain the Ambassador attention but all the guard could hear was loud voices and arguments
Carried by a new harsh tone, father Brennan replied, "I saw the boy's mother."
"You are referring to my wife. This is blackmailing and I don't want to have any of it here. What is it you want?"
"You should know Mr Thorn, that boy's mother is Jack...."
Finally the door was force opened. "Is anything the matter Mr Ambassador?" The guard inquired.
"Nothing. Please escort this gentleman out of here." Robert told the guard, which he did as he was bid. But right before getting to the door Father Brennan turned to Robert and said this words before leaving.
"Accept Christ every day. Take communion." Freaked out Robert's secretary asked her boss if he was okay. Robert replied with a nod excusing her to take her leave. Robert head kept wandering for what had just happened much less he doesn't want his wife finding out what just occurred. He will have a talk with his secretary before he leaves for home.
