Chapter 49 - Chapter 49

As she progresses through the floor, she notices the nodes start to become thicker and more resilient. 'No. Doesn't matter how resilient they become, I shall continue to just burn through them. No need to find them, if they just burn away.'

Walking forward she moves slowly to allow the spatial nodes to burn away. Upon reaching the cliff she frowns. "So what if you are not burning now. I will make you burn away and out of the way," she raises her arms and throws the flames forward, "I am not dealing with being teleported all over the place once again."

"Sir, I know it hasn't been long sense I last contacted you. However, you need to see what she is up to. She is breaking all known records for the stair case. But that isn't the reason, just watch what her flames are doing to the spatial nodes," the receptionist all the way at beginning says.

"Better be good then," the mans scowls. Watching through he is impressed at her avoiding the spatial nodes. 'This isn't what he is contacting me about, then why would he bother me.' As he watches he chuckles, 'those hidden moving ones managed to get her, wait no way. She is already burning through them. I need to call her up she needs to know. This is no longer at the stage where I can wait to contact her. Amber needs the proper training.'

"Just keep track of her points. Unless she leaves, don't bother contacting about her again. I will contact you if something else is needed to be done about her."

"Yes sir."

Walking out his office he sighs, looking around he sees a woman wearing a red ball gown. On her back two large orange scaley wings spread out. With a chuckle he walks up, "Ms. Madeline I was just about to go talk to you."

"About what this time lil Dreg?" she elegantly spins around.

"Amber is who it is about. Come in. I can show you what she is up to right now," he opens the door.

"This is interesting, so she is doing that training program already. She has only been using mana in a fight sense yesterday. Could she be progressing decently within it?" she smiles walking in.

"If it wasn't for two certain things I would have waited till she had left the program before finding you. However, there will be none better to teach her then you. All I can be is her beast taming mentor," he looks down.

"These two things must be big. Well she seemed to have a connection to flames innately anyway. So you wouldn't tell me about that. But what could you deem so important that you would seek me out to tell me in advanced," she sits down laughing.

Pulling up the projection she watches seriously. With her eyes beaming, "She entered the intersection of Midyarle and the Flame plane. Sadly I can't see what she has figured out about that through this projection," she shakes her head.

"I didn't realize she did so otherwise I would have got you sooner," he sniffles.

"No don't worry about it, you couldn't have noticed. It's barely perceivable through these projections. So you wouldn't have been able to," looking at Amber enter the flame preistess state, she pushes back in the chair and stands up. Leaning closer, her hands shake, "How ama-ma-ma-ziiing. To think she would enter it so soon. What did she do in the flame intersection to achieve it?" her smile beams through the room.

"I was impressed at that as well. However the next thing she did is far far far more interesting then that. Keep watching," he chuckles and closes his eyes. 'Her smile is as radiant as ever. To think she would become so excited over seeing how far Amber has managed to get without being taught.'

Watching Amber climb up the stairs she shakes her head, "She makes them look like their nothing. Even though they are the weakened version, she still casually walked up the first two sets like there was nothing," she sighs. Sitting back down, "To think she is so focused on getting stronger and having good fights, she ignores the illusions that appear. This is good though. But is she really at the same level as someone who just started forming mana cores, where could she have gained that experience?" she tilts her head.

"I think she has formed multiple mana cores, and possibly miasma cores. Well you will see why soon enough," he lifts one corner of his mouth and turns away.

Shaking her head with a sigh, "It is already painfully obvious she has formed multiple mana cores. To say she hasn't formed multiple miasma cores wouldnt make sense," she flicks a tiny flame at him.

Watching Amber she is pleased with her speed at climbing the staircase. Seeing Amber walk in circles she laughs, "Just like me. The first actual challenge either of us faced. Unlike me she already went to look for them after only a few times of going in a circle."

"Don't worry about that she well it's best if you see it yourself, instead of me saying a thing," he moves his head to the side as she flicks a flame at him.

Seeing Amber pass through the floors with some strange movement she nods, "Will she notice the moving nodes on that last step or not?" Watching her get teleported around she laughs in delight.

As she continues to watch she starts to rock back and forth in the chair laughing hysterically. "Her flame is powerful, and she has learned to control it so well so quickly. She even unknowingly entered the flame priestess form. You can train her in beast taming. But that is secondary to her flame control."

With one snort, "I thought as much. How many stars and revolutions do you think she lit up?"

"I don't care about that sort of thing, her tenacity, strength, and ability that she has shown is far more important than those damn stars and revolutions do," she clenches her hands, "I'll be damned if I let that determine why I accept someone as a student. Now then I'll have to go set some things up so I can properly train her. Notify me when she leaves," she walks out the door.
