LOUISANNA sat on the chair where Paraheia had accompanied her. It was a white chair made of metal and covered with black feathers that almost tickled her at first when it had direct contact with her skin.
She laughed, letting out a chuckle that echoed throughout the whole room. Her smile widened, but it faded after a while as there were straps made of metal that clung onto both her ankles, wrists, and one large strap on her waist.
"What the heck is this?" Louisanna asked as her brows furrowed. Her eyes threw a deadly gaze on Paraheia like a dagger.
"Sorry. All of them were cautious— even me," Paraheia answered her with honesty before she pointed at the audience. "You've been gone for a long time. No one knew what happened to you. This is the only way we could ensure our safety."
