The machine connected to Dana's body started to make a noise annoyingly as Dana's body also started to shiver— moving at a quick and unpredictable pace. It filled the room, and it gave Louisanna shivers down her spine.
She could hear the pain in her voice— screaming and crying for help, although she didn't say it directly.
"Aaaaagh!" Dana even squirmed as she held tightly onto the bed sheet.
"M-Mom!"
Louisanna, although she was still in shock, managed to click on the red button at the side of her mother's hospital bed. It was what the patients or visitors could click so doctors and nurses nearby could reach them at any time.
Never in her stay in this hospital room that she use this button. Before, as Louisanna was still a child, she thought that her mother had just experienced some sort of fatigue, so she rested in a hospital, but after a long time, she realized that a long time had passed between them.
