"What was that? Where is he?"
Louisanna blinked twice as she noticed that the man in front of her was already gone. There wasn't even a trace of him seen on the sight as she walked onto the location where Domhall was lying down earlier while groaning in pain.
She stared onto the floor and noticed that there was a small pit of fire burning in the center of one of her tiles, which has a color of black and white.
It was too little as it can even be compared to the size of a marble ball. As she bent her body a bit and extended her arms so she could touch the fire, just to confirm if it was real or just her imagination since everything that happened tonight seems like a dream, or nightmare, perhaps— the fire immediately shrank.
It burned brightly for a split second before it disappeared.
"Oh, wow." Louisanna shook her head before she lightly tapped her forehead. "I'm not yet crazy, aren't I?"
After that, she tried to slap herself lightly onto her cheeks, just to make sure she wasn't insane, and she was still in her right mind.
"Do I have a third eye now?" She couldn't help but ask herself that ridiculous question as she went inside her bathroom and like what she did before Domhall came, she threw herself on the bed, ready to sleep.
However, because of the uncanny things that happened earlier, her whole mind was awake as she thought how Gianna would call her a crazy woman if she told her about this, so she decided to just keep it to herself since no one would even believe her if she tried to spread the rumors.
"Red eyes which looked like the eyes of a demon, and a self-proclaimed demon king who entered my house… " she muttered in a low tone as she stared into the white ceiling. "As I think about that all over again, it felt like I'm in a movie. Damn."
Louisanna chuckled a bit before she turned her direction to the side, and with that, she saw the full moon.
A smile plastered on her lips as she saw how the moonlight brightens every second she stares at it… Like it was giving her comfort on all the things she needed to deal with right now.
Without any particular reason, she loved the moon more than the sun, or the stars. Every time she stares at it, she can feel like she can feel weak and vulnerable.
She always thought that the moon would be able to protect her from everything. With that, she decided not to think about anything anymore.
'Regardless if what happened earlier was real or not, it doesn't change the fact that it was done. I couldn't do anything about it, except forgetting it,' Louisanna said in the back of her mind as she drove herself to sleep.
Meanwhile, as Louisanna was having her peaceful slumber, Domhall was walking back and forth on Inferno, sticking both of his hands onto the pockets of his pants, as his brows were furrowed because of the sentence he heard Louisanna say.
"Did she just call me a self-proclaimed demon king?" His brows even furrowed deeper as he asked that question. "I can't believe this. Wow."
What he placed earlier on Louisanna's house— The mini-fire Louisanna was staring at before it shrank and vanished was a part of his plan.
It was his way to monitor her for a while even though he was in hell. If the power he made would be compared to the technologies of the human world, it would be called CCTV.
His power in the human world wouldn't last for days since what he was doing was illegal. Even kings like him need to follow the basic rules set by the council, with the approval of the majesties from heaven and hell.
That's the only thing he knows by now, and he knew that if he tried to dig deeper into Louisanna's existence, he would be able to discover something no one had ever known before.
"Hah." Domhall chuckled as he let out a laugh when he heard Louisanna's snoring on the other world.
He was sensitive to noise, so he deactivated the power he had on Louisanna's house for a while to save his energy as well, but when he realized that something worthy could happen to Louisanna in her sleep, he immediately snapped his hands to activate his power.
But it was too late. The moment Domhall deactivated his power was the crucial mistake he made… since an unusual power was protecting Louisanna right now, even though she was unconscious.
"Fuck!" That was the only thing Domhall could say as he messed up with his hair, feeling annoyed as suddenly, there was a huge fire surrounding him.
His power was out of his control because of rage.
He walked onto his throne and he sat on it, crossing his legs as he stared into his peasants trying their best to escape this. Unfortunately, the only way they could only escape is when Domhall cursed them by ceasing them to reincarnate.
His red eyes went darker the moment he thought about what he should do about Louisanna.
He didn't care about the past, or even what race she came from— Although there's a part of him that wants to seek the answer to that question because of mere curiosity.
He's certain that Louisanna has something to do with his transformation. She's always there when something strange happens to him.
Like now, where he can feel an unusual force of energy on her body, her eyes changing from the color black to blue without her knowing, and her soul was even something.
It wasn't even tainted, like an angel.
'But how can an angel curse someone? It was prohibited.'
"This is driving me insane.." Domhall tapped his fingers onto the armrest of his throne as he thought of something he could do for a while.
If Louisanna's energy was powerful even though she wasn't aware of it, it would be dangerous for him if she remembers everything. He should manipulate her memories first before she does something about it.
"Maybe I can make her a sinner!" Domhall exclaimed in excitement as he planned on manipulating Louisanna's memory, making her have a negative and evil mindset so he could have a chance to taint her soul.
According to the book he had read before, the strength and energy consumed by a demon king will be doubled once the energy he consumes came from a pure, white soul tainted recently.
Thinking that Louisanna would be able to eliminate his horrible demonic form, or even enhance it, at least, he stood up as he immediately teleported to Louisanna's house, but he stopped when he felt an energy coming from her that was even stronger than the last time he saw her.
That strange power despite unawareness made him abort his mission as he immediately teleported to Inferno for the second time, catching his breath like someone was holding his neck, even though it wasn't the case.
