Chapter 1 - Prologue

Part 1

The thunder roars… The persistent sound of rainfall on the cold stone ground seems to deafen that of my heavy breathes.

In the great distance I see the lilac hue of the enemy's torches. Even in this torrent of rain, the fiery manes of their demonic beasts remain undisturbed in horrible majesty.

The small boy Oraki continued in curiosity, "I do not feel worthy of anything though. What do Shamans even do?"

Mekari, while stroking his magnificent goatee, proceeded to explain that their duty was to protect the Sacred Treasure of Vutenia.

"What do you mean? What even is the Sacred Treasure?" asked Oraki even more confused.

His father picked up the young boy and gladly answered, "Oh it's a very beautiful thing. You see the sacred treasure is really…"
