The clever Spider-Man, using the resonating noise of a steel pipe, targeted Venom's weakness, creating a cage that successfully separated the Venom symbiote from Eddie. People finally saw the true face of Venom.
Entirely black like mud, with no limbs, but with a fierce gaping mouth, it menacingly snarled at Spider-Man, showcasing its threat.
Realizing the potential disaster of this monster remaining on Earth, Spider-Man decisively used the pumpkin bombs left by Harry, throwing them at the black creature.
"No!"
However, Eddie, who had been saved, was unwilling to give up the power of Venom. Surprisingly, he also lunged forward. As the bomb exploded, both he and Venom perished together.
Watching this, Gordon outside the screen shook his head, frowning. "Even without Venom, Eddie would have eventually turned to a life of crime. After being parasitized by Venom, he was completely addicted to that evil and powerful force."
Bruce spoke solemnly, "It's hard for ordinary people to resist such temptation. This symbiote is a dangerous extraterrestrial life form. Peter, you have to be careful."
Peter nodded. His future had changed, and he couldn't guarantee that Venom wouldn't visit Earth again, as hinted in the future video, targeting him.
At this moment, Peter felt a heavy heart. Seeing his friend sacrifice himself to save him, he was moved but also saddened. The exposure of this future, though not yet occurred, raised questions about what choices his friend would make.
The video continued, showing Eddie and Venom dying in a spectacular fireworks display. Spider-Man, despite winning the battle, couldn't find joy. He had not only defeated the enemy but also lost a dear friend.
Nearby, Flint Marko observed coldly. He had previously transformed into a giant sand creature using the construction site's ubiquitous sand. Although Harry had dispersed the sand creature, Flint Marko's vitality remained intact.
However, he didn't seize the opportunity to attack Peter. After this experience, Flint seemed to have awakened. He explained to Peter the difficulties he faced, forced to turn to a life of crime to gather funds for his critically ill daughter's medical expenses.
Peter still harbored resentment for Flint's crime of killing his uncle. Flint clarified that he didn't intend to kill his uncle; he just wanted to steal the car. Under Uncle Ben's persuasion, he had hesitated, but his accomplice, later identified as the real carjacker by the police and Spider-Man, arrived and hit him. This caused Flint's gun to accidentally shoot, leading to the tragedy.
Flint expressed deep self-blame and pain afterward. He didn't seek Peter's forgiveness but wanted to reveal the truth.
After hearing this, Peter's eyes reddened. He thought about his own mistakes during the symbiote incident. Through this experience, he realized that everyone makes mistakes; what matters is recognizing and correcting them. Like Harry, like the now enlightened Flint Marko.
Peter chooses to forgive Flint, putting a definitive end to Uncle Ben's death. Flint, equally with red eyes, pulled out a photo of his daughter and turned into a pile of yellow sand, dissipating into the horizon.
Outside the screen, some viewers changed their perception of Sandman: "Sandman and Eddie present a stark contrast. Flint, despite being a wrongdoer, is a responsible and caring father. While Eddie... he's just thoroughly rotten!"
"That's right. Looking at it now, I realize many of the supervillain's Spider-Man encounters turned to a life of crime due to accidents or being forced into it. For example, Norman Osborn took risks to secure company and military orders, and Dr. Octopus pursued his dreams with dangerous experiments, including the current Sandman, who did it for his daughter's illness. Honestly, compared to Batman's enemies, Spider-Man's enemies aren't entirely irredeemable."
"The most tragic is Harry. Inheriting his father's Green Goblin legacy, he met a similar fate. However, one died due to wickedness, and the other died with honor."
"Harry truly was Spider-Man's best friend. If he hadn't died, he would've undoubtedly become Spider-Man's finest ally, fighting crime and upholding justice!"
In the video, the sunset acts as a backdrop, gently casting its glow on the injured Harry. With life slipping away, he finds solace in the company of his two best friends.
During his final moments, Peter apologizes for the hurtful words spoken during Harry's dark period. Despite the past, Harry smiles, closing his eyes tiredly, surrounded by his two loyal friends.
After the funeral, Mary Jane continues singing at the bar. Peter, now in formal attire looked at Mary Jane, Mary Jane silently locked eyes and embraced.
Outside the video, applause echoed as people celebrated. After overcoming various challenges and setbacks, the two lovers triumphantly emerged into the daylight. Their relationship, tested by numerous obstacles, solidified, as they both recognized each other as the lifelong companions they wished to stay with.
Peter scratches his head. "Mary Jane and I haven't been through all of this. I don't want her in danger, but without these experiences, would our relationship be..."
Gordon glances at him, speaking with the wisdom of experience. "Silly kid, what are you thinking? A simple and plain life is true happiness, understand?"
Arthur reminds him, "Peter, your concern now shouldn't be your girlfriend but the outcome of the game!"
